Replacement MasterCard with New Security Code?

My old MasterCard has been acting up lately and chip isn't reading anywhere I use it. I requested a new one and I got it in the mail today.

Just activated it and it has the same number and expiry, the only thing different is the security code.

Now, do I need to update any online purchases I made with the card that have not been charged yet? Since the number and expiration is the same and it's just the security code on the back that has changed.

TIA!

If you have something recurring, then definitely go in and update your payment information.

If it is some 1-time purchase that's still in pre-shipping or something, I would leave it unless the site contacts you asking for info.
What if there were no hypothetical questions?

Not anything recurring, just a few things I ordered that haven't been shipped yet!
