replacing Linksys WRT54G
HI All,
I am looking for some advise , I have a Linksys WRT54G router, it is rock solid , no major issues at all, even if I have to restart the router, it takes seconds to go back to a workerable state. The only thing is that is it is only 54 MB, verse these days, N is up to 300 MB, I think I should see a lot of improvements in terms of streaming Netflix, streaming from PC to PBC etc, so my question is, which router these days would you consider as a 'direct replacement' for the WRT54G ?
thanks.. !

Hi, bestjsg. I have a Linksys WRT54GL router so close enough to yours.
I am wondering how significant the improvements are. When I replace this router, I'll probably get this router:
TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND

Check shopbot or similar site for cheapest price. Right now, it's going for just over $50. I like it because it's supposedly versatile for various firmware upgrades/tweaks like Tomato etc.
