replacing my dryer

My dryer in my condo unit is out of order, and the management office tells me to replace it at my own expense

I'm looking for any possible ways to lower down the cost.

Can I get rebate on my new dryer?

Can anyone share how much it cost you to replace your dryer?

Why would the building replace your dryer to begin with? You own the apartment unit, yes?

Shop around... that's all you can do. If you don't mind not having the bells and whistles then look at more basic models, or even older models. The Energy Savings rebate is currently available in Ontario (25% off eligible units). Ontario Energy Savings Rebate - 25% Off Appliance until Mar 31, 2020

How big is your current unit and how much space do you have for a new dryer? Is it a condo sized dryer? Take measurements.
Tis banana is IRIE

10% off is cold, 50% off is warm, 75% off is hot, but FREE IS RFD!

Check Kijiji for something used.

However it may not stack properly.

Or keep an eye out for used dryers from people who live at the building.

There really isn't a lot that makes a dryer work. They are just a giant drum, and tiny little circuit board. Last time mine stopped working, it was just a popped joint. Fixed in 5 minutes.

Have you taken it apart yet?
