I remote desktop in using same username (root) and NEW password they email.
They will email you a new password each time you reinstall. This password is only for the server and not for the control panel. You can change the password after you login using whatever means normal to the OS (in Windows Server 2012; I think it is still ctrl + alt + del and change password).

Ah that makes sense, I guess it just bugged and didn't email me a password. I just reinstalled a different OS and got an email with a new password, so I'll try windows 2012 again.

I am just using it to run SETI@Home there. Since I already have another dedi I'm paying for my minecraft server and hosting my websites, and a few VPS to do VPN and backup, I don't want to become overly attached to it, and end up renting a second dedicated server.
They didn't mention explicitly how much bandwidth is allowed. I just checked their European center's website, and they offer unmetered bandwidth there: http://www.ovh.com/fr/serveurs_dedies/ So my guess it is also similar here.

Second time I reinstalled windows 2012, it emailed me a password so it's working great now
I'm actually interested in their vks solutions and what the pricing will be like as they are quite competitive in Europe, but the downside was I got terrible speeds to Canada. I don't think I'd spring for a dedi unless they were really cheap. I'm using it to play around with game server hosting but as they don't say how long the beta will last and being a beta it could be unstable I also don't want to get too attached

Yay.
I think someone else mentioned they were on vks and there was no Windows images for those, though. So if you absolutely need Windows, then it might not be right for you. And yes, I don't want to get too attached and have to pay another bill... I'll most likely drop it later when beta ends.
On Windows, download "putty" and use that to login.
On Mac/Linux, launch up your terminal and use "ssh root@ip.add.re.ss" without quotes, replace ip.add.re.ss with the IP address they gave you, and login.
Password will NOT appear as you type; safety feature of linux servers. There is no GUI, so you'll need to learn command line if you're not already comfortable with it. Debian is pretty straight forward, so you shouldn't have too much problem, though. If all else fails, and if your server is a dedicated server deal from this thread -- not a VKS from another thread -- then you can go to the control panel and reload it with Windows 2012, which have GUI for you to poke at.

Thanks Chiisana,
Using putty, I already installed GNOME (with few error encounter) & NX server, client & node. Now I can remote desktop with NX Client for windows but screen is blank. I can not execute any linux command or no desktop - all black screen only.
Any other system with desktop can be installed?
