is there a specific etf you're looking for or a specific sector? There are indices that trade on the TSX. You can check on the tsx website for thier indices. You can also look at iunits.com

Requesting Index Funds Info
I know we said no stock tips. But I am curious about hwo exchange traded funds (ETFs) work and I want a listing of the ETF's. I have a book on ETF's but I can't seem to find any information on the exact funds available. I heard there were about 100 of these and I would like to take a look at them as investment choices. Anyone have leads on this stuff.
Thanks

I'm a moron... I thought Bylo was his real name. Then I noticed it was Bylo Selhi - Buy Low, Sell High...

But he does keep his real name private; it wouldn't really make a difference if the public knew it anyway.

Exactly like stocks. Watch out for commission fees.

Very liquid for major benchmarks. Slightly less liquid for sector specific benchmark iUnits.
