Reseeding in July?
We built a patio last year and really did some damage on the front lawn last summer. My intention was to resod early this year, but the cost and other factors prevented me from doing this.
I am now thining of reseeding the lawn but is already early July.
Should I even attempt this now? Or should I wait until Sept when it is a bit cooler?

I would wait for the cooler weather, it's simply too dry right now.

You could get away with it now if its a eyesore for you to keep looking at it. However, be prepared to give it tonnes of water everyday!!!!! Secondly make sure you use the right type of seeds!!!!!

As mentioned, as long as you are prepared to water it like crazy, it should be fine.
However, it will require a lot more of your time and attention in summer...you left it this long, wait til the fall or even next spring.

We left it this long partly because the wife and I had been too busy with work and also went on vacation. Now we finally got around to fixing up the garden, planting new shrubs and really cleaning that part up nicely......now the lawn would be the last step, would be nice to do it this year and still get a nice looking front for a couple of months.
I might try it out and see what happens, but I do understand it would need a lot of watering.

Why do you always end your sentences with exclamation marks?!!!!!!!! You have three thousand posts, by now you should know it's impolite to yell all the time!!!!!!!
What about putting down new sod, should we wait untill fall also or just do it now and water like crazy?
