Resistence 2 VS COD5?
So which 1 are you going to pick among the two titles, first?
If it weren't for my budget i would have gotten both from amazon now.

neither, both are generic run of the mill FPS that we've seen 345853 times already.

In my opinion both kind of suck ... if I were to make a choice ... I'd say CoD5 since R2 doesn't seem to require much strategy.

I'm picking up Resistance 2 for sure. I loved the first game and I loved COD4 but I'm not really interested in exploring normal WWII anymore.
Plus, the co-op is gonna be great (offline and online). I can play online with some friends and my sister actually likes Resistance, so thats some 2 player co-op right there. I know single player and multiplayer campaigns are different so its double the fun, double the experience.
I'm interested in online as well because of 60 player squad based gameplay. It will be a first for me on any console so I'm sure I will enjoy. Plus, the game counteracts the craziness of LBP.
I also prefer Sony first party games especially from good developers over third party games where PS3 is delegated to the being the port._______________

Resistance 2 looks nothing like I expected from the videos I've seen. Well actually, some look nice, while others don't. I don't have either console and will most likely get the 360 this weekend, but I have a friend with a resistance 2 pre-order. I personally think COD5 will be much better, unless resistance is different when I try it.

CoD5 uses the COD4 engine plus I've played on the beta for both and I found CoD5 more fun.

COD5 sounds like ass. I didn't know they had UAV and silencers for troops back then. They had an opportunity to show their worth and make a real FPS but instead made a COD4 mod with WWII skins. No thanks. Reply With Quote

COD5 may not be historically accurate but it's the better of the two for sure. I couldn't stomach the soft, plasma shooting effects of Resistance. It was my first game on the PS3 when I picked it up near launch and Motorstorm was not my cup of tea. Anyway, needless to say most of the games in the PS3 library just didn't and still doesn't stack up. I skipped BiA:HH but I may pick up Airborne later. The demo was fun and a little mroe reminiscent of the original MoH: Allied Assault which started the whole FPS craze for me. Counter-what?

I would go with Resistance 2. This time around they are adding 60 player online and 8 player coop. They are also adding in classes so online will be extensive. Single player should be good too considering the bosses that are now included and many more weapons were added. COD5, however is made from a different team that made COD4 and are using the same engine as COD4. The game won't be much better than COD4 graphically but they added more weapons and added vehicles to online.

Resistance 2 100%, 2 campaigns, 60 dudes to kill im multi player, lots of replay value and a story thats pretty cool. Graphics are great too, i dont see why you would get COD5 over it (which looks cool too btw just not as good) when resistance is just a better overall product.

The dogs are insane. Almost nowhere to hide. I still can't get a handle on killing 'em.

I'll get both
but if I had to choose it would be Resistance 2
just played the MP beta for about an hour and it was a blast
seems much more optomized than the COD WAW beta
but we'll see how they stack up upon release_______________
