REturn policy on DSLR lenses at FS/BB?

Does anyone know what the return policy is on DSLR lenses at Futureshop or BestBuy. There are two lenses that I've been looking at for my Nikon camera and they're on sale this week, but I can only have one and I would really like to try them out before making the purchase final. They're both under $300 so its not one of the big expensive ones, but I don't want to be stuck with both.

I bought the plastic 50mm f/1.8mm last year at BB and returned it on the last possible day (the 14th day). They did inspect it thoroughly, so as long as it's new condition it should be fine. You may as well ask the sales people to make sure.

That's the lens I'm looking at. Just wanted some personal experience if they gave a hard time on returning such items.

No issues, I ended up returning it and used the funds toward the mk1 metal mount version on eBay instead :D

I returned the 50mm f1.8 to Best Buy no problem.

Yeah but not something you can use regularly - I mean they must have a stop-gap measures for abuse.

Used to be 30 but too many people were taking them on their vacs and then returning them.
