Revenge of the Sith Video Game, DS, GBA, PSP

I had to post this, this is not intended to bash the DS system at all, I was just amazed when I saw the actual difference, I'm surprised at the quality comparison, check out these pics, for good measures I've included some GBA shots too..

Aparently the Xbox, PS2 and PSP version are suppose to be near identical. If anything is different it would be the graphics details, but only slightly. Also it is unconfirmed if the PSP version will have voice acting. The GBA and DS version apartently don't have any voice acting and are suppose to both be very similar, except the DS version will have a special moves control scheme similar to the DS version of Spider-Man 2 for the DS, these two games are suppose to be completely different than the PS2, Xbox and PSP versions.

What do you think?

Any reason why the PSP screens aren't widescreen?

Good point. I doubt those are the PSP shots. More like the PS2 shots.
It won't be that much difference though.

Looks like they are just porting the GBA game onto DS. Clearly not using the DS' capabilities to the fullest. But who knows, it could be good. Yet most movie license games suck.

It's true. THe DS is the GBA + some "3d" levels tacked in. Too hard to port the PSP/PS2/Xbox version.

when i saw the first psp pic i thought it was some dude dressed up playing the psp at a display or something, and then i realized that that was actually a scene from the psp, what a difference from the first two systems!

Well currently all of the shots on the net are labels as the Xbox/PS2/PSP

so I'm guessing that is why it isn't in widescreen...

These are some widescreen ones I found, I think these are from the PSP version, file res looks right

As you can see from these Metal Gear Acid PSP shots, the models and textures are similar to the Revenge of the Sith game, hopefully this game will rock

To me this looks worse on the company then on the DS. They are too lazy to make a decent game when they can just port it. I mean when they have in the past just ported PS2 games to the Xbox - does that mean the xbox is less powerful, no just that the makers don't want to be bothered. The DS is certainly more powerful than the GBA - I mean look at the Metroid demo. For either or any system I am predicting that this game will suck (movie titles usually do). But it is disappointed that they couldn't be bothered to make a game for the DS - just port the GBA one. But its not like I have been waiting the play this craptastic game - I am looking forward to the Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Metoid, Meteos, Kirby, Age of Empires, etc........................, now if these look like GBA ports I will be very disappointed.

Castlevania already looks like it could've been done easily on the GBA. People are lazy. They're treating the DS's 3D capabilities as an extra and instead just porting over content from the GBA readily. BOOO!
