Why don't you request a letter from the registrar stating that you have fulfilled the requirement for your degree?

hey guys i have read quite a few post/topics about the CRA in these forums.
my situation is a bit different from you guys...
I applied for a student position though my school, position is called Taxpayer Services Student, guessing its the same thing as the service agent except with lower pay. -_-
anyways i got called for an interview this Thurs, was pretty excited and began doing some research, discovered all these test you guys had to write and the long wait period etc, needless to say im getting a bit nervous.
The i got an email from my school (indirect info i guess)
Interview is 30 min, with two CRA recruiters.
since i have not write any test or anything do you guys think they will make me write the wonderlic/CBOQ/CBBQ or w/e (which one is relevant anyways), is this possible/practical in the 30 min time slot?
i know the wonderlic is 12 min long, but having 1 of us write at a time seems inefficient... how long are the other tests that are relevant to me (if any)?
EDIT: is there such thing as over dressing for an interview? since this is basically a call center position i dont want to suit up and overdress...
Suit without the tie... or maybe just dress shirt and nice pants.

Dress your best, tie included. I would wear a suit and tie if I were a guy. I always were my best suit to any job interview. I don't think you can overdress for a Government job, if it was a part time job at timmies then I would say skip the suit!
Good luck, let us know how it goes!

If my cell phone number has changed since my original online application should i let them know, even though my home number is the same? Just in case they like to contact potential candidates by phone. Should i email them?

However I have been looking for the last hours and I can't find a fax number to HR or Recruitment, only the email addy they never answer me in!

Since they have not posted a fax number, that e-mail is the only way you can communicate with them. I would e-mail them a copy and make sure you keep the copy of the communication and read receipt.fallaboveclouds wrote: ↑Do you, or anyone know the fax number for HR that has the test results that are used in the CRA? Are there only two Toronto locations for CRA? I know in Ottawa, there are so many it is ridiculous. I have personally been to Heron Road, Fitzgerald, Slater, and MacKenzie CRA locations in Ottawa. There is no "central" HR to e-mail/fax in this area.PRINCESSLULU wrote: ↑are you looking for the fax no. for toronto north or toronto centre? i have it for toronto centre.

I don't have the copy of the test, thats what I am trying to get. It was a hard copy sent in the mail, so I dont even have it to scan and email (I cnat find it for the test that I need)..thats why I had to fax in a request to obtain a copy. Hopefully they get back to me today. Note to people dont lose your test copy its a mission to get another one :S

You could wait for a long, long time. Only one CRA competition I went on had the results back within a couple of weeks. There is a competition with the DND I am involved in and it has been almost two months since my interview.

just had my student interview. it was only ~15 min
they asked me two question only, said they go easy on their student candidates...
why i would make a good candidate
Then a question about if i was a sales rep how would i handle it if a customer wanted a refund for a non-refundable item...
filled out some forms, i asked some questions and that was it. Said it would take 4-6 weeks so i wouldn't know until early-mid December..
just wondering how would you guys have answered that question?

Probably has something to do with the fact they cannot fund non-essential positions. They are cutting terms that end prior to 31-Mar in my area right now.
