So I got a letter for the pool for 2 competitions in Winnipeg on tuesday-Income tax Auditor and Compliance Services Officer. Is anyone in the same boat? I'm curious to know if there's an anticipated start date or if and when offers will go out?

Hi All,
I applied AU-03/04 Income Tax Auditor position Toronto this April, and was interviewed in June. On the Job Advertisement, it says that the offered is anticipated in June, but I am still waiting for the assessment result. On CRA's website, the status still indicates "assessment phase". Has anyone got the offer yet? Anyone in the similar situation?
Thanks!

Did anyone hear back for the Excise Tax Auditor position in Toronto (2013-1263-ONT-0001-2169 )?
I did an interview in Dec, 2013, and the posting to date is still listed as interviews still in process. How long do these processes generally take (range)?

usually if you made it to the pool there isnt more tests. But I was in a pool where I was told there might be additional assessment which was an interview for me.Collections wrote: ↑Hello Stereo Blaster,
Thank you for your reply.
After you were emailed about availability you had to pasd other
tests and interviews?
I thought those already in a pool didnt have to go through testing and interviews again.
Anyone else with this experience?

for people in the Montreal AU-1 pool from June 2013, you should have received an email saying you are still eligible.
They will hire 20-25 more people this november.
Arouns 75 have been hired since last october
Good luck

Hello dear,
Time frames vary a lots pending on budget, attrition...etc...as far as I know.
Be patient, if you believe you did well on interview you will be called if a position becomes available.
I interviewed May 2013, got called to start September 2014.
Good luck!

Thanks for your message! What threw me off is that I would have thought a pool would at least be created by now.Collections wrote: ↑Hello dear,

Were you ever put in a pool or did it skip to placement?

Hey there! I did the CRA on Saturday, September 13th, 2014. I got my results on September 18th, 2014 via snail mail. How do i know i passed? What is the minimum score to get to get through to the next part of the hiring process? Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Check the original job poster. It should say you need minimum score. eg. 55/105.ErikaB337 wrote: ↑Hey there! I did the CRA on Saturday, September 13th, 2014. That one is AU development program. So they want some fresh bodies across the country to train them to be AU2s over time and from what I read it does not look like you need to apply to get promoted, just meet your performance expectations over the 36 months. Reason they cannot use the PRA 2224 process is that the job poster does not say such things, it is only meant for AU1. So they just cannot do it.ArsalanA343 wrote: ↑New job posted for auditor apprenticeship positions at CRA. Wondering why they getting new candidates while there were still people in pool for AU-01

I'd suggest applying for it. If you got in AU1 pool, you probably meet the requirements.

the 1s are going to hurt you but you're in the pool of those that passed the test. now, the question is are they going to call you in for an interview. it'll depend on how many openings they have. i had similar results but never got an interview even though i pass but i'm still being consideredErikaB337 wrote: ↑On the Writing Skills - English test, i got a score of 71.

Depends on what job you are in process of but like the previous comment, you want at least lvl 2s in all their competencies to be able to apply to other jobs internally. Most mid level jobs all require lvl 2 or higher.ErikaB337 wrote: ↑On the Writing Skills - English test, i got a score of 71.

Last month, I appeared in an interview for SP04 position and passed it. I was told that pool will expire on Oct 31, 2014. My question to you is, what is the next step in the hiring process and should I be able to receive a job offer after interview?
Thanks
