This guitar tuner goes on sale I think once a year for $2. Get it quick, they go fast. If you have a guitar or ukulele you probably need this. They usually go for about $20 retail.

Is this better than a phone tuner app? I'm just starting to play guitar.

Pretty sure the convenience is worth it for $2.

I have one from a similar deal last year. Works just as good as my Fender one.

Thanks OP, just ordered one to keep my Snark company. It's nice to have a few of these things.

probably but I have had a few cheap tuners and have found that there have been issues with tuning the low E and response time
better tuners are chromatic with non-mic input (picks up vibrations from your strings)
The chromatic tuners allow alternate tuning and stepup/stepdown tuning
The vibration pickup allows you tune when there is ambient noise or when others are play/tuning

Personally I love the snark headstock tuners - fast accurate response and bright display
they are a bit more money , but well worth it in my opinion

Thanks, missed it last time. My favourite tuner is the Planet Waves NS Mini, this will be a good backup though.

Thanks OP! Never knew a clip on tuner existed nor did I realize I'd need one. Ordered and thanked!

Thanks! Got one.

Note that they are ~ $3.50 on aliexpress so not a HUGE difference, but I figure it's still cheaper and I dont have to wait 6 weeks for it
