Is Reverse Parking Into Your Driveway The Cool Thing ?

I've noticed around homes, the houses with nicer cars in the driveway always have them reversed parked in, is it really the "cool" thing or is there a "cool" factor about it. Like fancy house oh and check out my car ?

I reverse park everywhere I go.

You don't?
Deal with it.

Back in, to drive out. Only time I don't is when I need in the hatch.

You should always reverse park.
You have the best view of your surroundings as you arrive and know there's nothing in the way when backing in.
When you need to go you just get in and drive, you have max visibility as well, can see any pedestrians or obstacles in the way.

It does look cooler, no doubt.

But it is also a lot safer.

Backing in when I get home from work makes it easier for me to get out the next morning (street gets very busy are 7AM)
When given enough time, all threads on RFD can and will go off on a tangent.

Has nothing to do with 'cool'. Just easier to back in because front wheel is doing the steering and much easier to get off because you got wider view. It does cool if you have a rear view camera to do the backing.

its just a safety thing - easier to see, easier to get out onto a busy street
at my work its mandatory to reverse park (whether its in the company parking lot, inside the wash bay or garage bays)
because 'our first move should be forward'

By reverse parking, you save about 10 seconds when you have to rush to the store to pick up deals found on RFD. Those 10 seconds can be the difference between happiness or the dreaded OOS.

I do it because it's nicer to back in during the daytime when I get home from work and everything is clear/visible vs backing out when it's dark out and waiting for the rear defroster do its work (yes, even after scraping the outside) in the winter. I also have a split laneway (sidewalk with plenty of runners/dog walkers in all seasons) and live on a main neighbourhood (bus route) road. I hardly own what anyone would call "cool cars", especially RFDers.
