How long ago you bought the fridge?WalnutCrunch wrote: ↑Sep 29th, 2008 11:08 amI have a different model from them. So far so good. I also had concerns about reliability as it's got mixed reviews (as do most appliances, really). I needed a counter-depth fridge that's less than 36" wide, and my only choices were an F&P and a Samsung. The F&P looks really sexy and comes with a pimp LCD water dispenser, so I took a chance on it.
The compressor is quiet, although once in a while it makes a louder noise for like 15 seconds. All the controls work well and seems to keep the food fresh. The water dispenser works really well and takes up no space on the inside of the door.
The LCD is more of a gimmick. Not too often do I need to put the freezer in deep freeze or need a timer to tell me my beverage in the freezer is chilled.
One thing I do like is the water filter, it's externally mounted (at least mine is) so you can replace it with any (cheaper) filter system that takes 1/4" tubing.

Yes, we've been suffering through 6 months of VERY loud (kitchen close to living room and volume set at it's highest) noise issues. We had hoped to save energy and can always appreciate a few hic-ups when you're an 'early adopter' but it has become ridiculous. As we paid almost $4000 for the fridge only to have components and boards replaced we are looking for the company to "stand behind their product". We are hoping the company will 'step-up' as we've had limited success with the service contractor. Their service group here in Ottawa are either untrained or have 'no' diagnostic capabilities. I just spent almost 15 minutes on hold waiting for a third represenative that apparently has 'authority' and will update once she calls me back.lamborghinireventon wrote: ↑Sep 28th, 2008 9:07 pmAnyone have bought Fisher & Paykel French Door Fridge RF201ADUX? GE cafe has a 36" counter depth fridge available. We just bought one, but I can't give any feedback yet other than looks (not installed yet)lamborghinireventon wrote: ↑Sep 29th, 2008 9:45 pmI am looking for French Door and I couldn't find Electrolux counter depth french door only side by side?!
