It is a commissioned coin by Steve Bromberg. The Shopping Channel and Canadian Coin & Currency sold more than 300 of them. So a large part of the 1000 mintage went to Steve Bromberg. The other dealers sold out fast too since their allocation was cut.

Also, Mario95 has dropped it back down to $1199. Up and down goes his pricing. Changing daily or hourly.

TSC not selling singles, only subs.

The single jumped $100 almost immediately at GW and then CC&C. I'm assuming that collectors were willing to pay it because they don't want the other two coins. It's a nice set, but I wouldn't pay an extra $1,700 for the other two. The first is the only one that I want for my collection.

Actually, if my second coin comes through from GW I might consider it.

lol

Are you the "other collector?"

First let's see if the second one even comes through...

I ordered two just to make sure I get at least one. Too many disappointments lately with "Dear Looney" letters, informing me that I'm out of luck, the item has been oversold or whatever.

Are you wondering if you'll even get yours from GW?

Argh..........You know it's hard enough to pick the 'winners' but crap like this just makes me bang my head against the wall. Zero bat coins for me  I purchased at price of 18.16 € each (with shipping included) = $25.69 CAD and we all know recent eBay sold listings are $117-$125 CAD (including shipping). Invercoin is blacklist for me because they already knew shipping to Canada via registered mail is bad idea because for whatever reason, CP will not track incoming international registered mail. Miguel is nice guy but he shouldn't have shipped registered mail, he knows better. He did ship a parcel cuz it made it all the way to Canada Customs Jan 5th 2017.........then tracking shows no information. Investigation began by Correos Feb 13th, 2017. Below is his email to me this morning

Hello 'my name',

Bad news. Postal Service “Correos” tell us that the parcel is lost. I´m very sorry.

Only once “Correos” give the package for lost and then it was delivered, so it is almost impossible package be found. The only thing we can do is return the money and apologize.

If you have not received the package tell us and we will give you the money back.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Miguel

And update from MDM this morning too.........just to add to my frustration.........but there's still hope.......lol.........what are the chances MDM will honour my Feb 7th, 2017 order of PF krug at 83 euro = $117.50 CAD when the sold listings are $400+ CAD with shipping...

Dear 'my name',

Thank you very much for your email.

As we recently by the South African Mint - Mint of state of South Africa - have experienced the delivery of the coin will take some more time.

Once we have is the Krugerrand is available, we will send you your copy as soon as possible.

We ask for your patience - thank you.

Best regards

This is my first RFD post :)

What do you guys think of the 5oz silver $1 Canada Goose?
I love the design and size and got a chance to hold one in my hand, not sure if it has potential to appreciate

Cheers

Welcome to the thread :) Some here (including myself) for sure had high hopes for 5oz Colville Goose but it's been a bit of a disappointment. Always good to check eBay sold listings for latest trends.

I hope Lonesome doesn't mind but here's a post from March 31st, 2017 (other forum)....

"Any Colville Goose coin sold for less than $600 will incur a loss since the issue price was $559.95.
I sold one for $599 with free shipping a few months ago and I ended up with $500 after all the fees...."

That’s too bad, Simu. A real kick in the teeth, especially after prices more than quadrupled.

My order from Europe (for different coin) also made it to Canada Customs and then disappeared. Registered mail. “Coin” is part of this company's name as well. Makes me wonder if they’re careless enough to use their name on the package, indicating to thieves that’s it’s open season.

Glad I bought one for $52 CDN from Dazzling Coins. Unfortunately, they also include “coin” in the return address, but at least their packages are not accessible to Customs employees.

Just opened my package from RCM. The 10 oz Confederation coin is amazing! The UHR is much better than expected, and the coin and capsule are in perfect shape. They took better care in packaging this time, too.

If my second coin is in the same perfect condition I'll be keeping it. Can't let go of this beautiful piece!
