The Superman coins have been done to death. The last three Superman coins, the two 3 oz Gold Plated and the Superman Shield are complete duds.

Now we come to the Justice League coins. Are they really necessary given the poor reception given to the last movie tie-in Superman coins: Dawn of Justice coins. The Dawn of Justice coins are still available at the RCM for the past 1 1/2 years!
Have a nice day!

Almost 1/2 price at CA for VIP (but higher on eBay):

VIP price $99.00 for 2oz coin: https://www.colonialacres.com/product-p/150118.htm

VIP price $59.00 for 1oz coin: https://www.colonialacres.com/product-p/150397.htm

US Mint 2017 Proof Silver Set arrived. I have to question why the US Mint would use UPS instead of USPS for shipping. $34 at the door blows!!!

Apmex does the same. Always UPS even if you request USPS....very frustrating indeed

MCM/GovMint, in contrast, uses USPS

Mintages aren't low enough on a theme done to death, its a pass for me. I'd prefer if they used classic comic book artwork on the coins.

btw Interesting/predictable price markup by MCM/GovMint

Issue price $139.95 USD

Now the 70's sets with FR White Core $435.75 USD
and the 70's sets with ER Black Core $435.75 USD

Honestly, stay away from these, they are pretty much guaranteed to drop in price, save your money for the renewed silver dollar coming soon.

The thing that stands out here IMHO is the idea of getting Jason Fabok to do original art just for these coins.

I know the Group of 7 series tried to put famous art on coins but that art was already well known and not specifically designed for the coins.....we all know how that series did.

I think it's an New and somewhat interesting strategy to get a famous comic book artist to do unique art and immortalize it on a coin medium.

With all of that said.........I'm concerned these coins will not do well with such 'typical' high mintages.
