I can't remember which year I suggested doing coins that look like solid gold records but somebody finally came through with the idea.....sort of

This could have been done in platinum, gold, silver and oxidized silver (to mimic vinyl).......too bad they didn't implement the idea to its fullest....

btw I am not buying these medals
....just somewhat interesting new release

MCM also selling these. Nice idea.

Not for me, but I know an Elvis fan who will buy it.

Apparently, MCM bought GovMint last year - just FYI.
That's interesting. I chat with MCM Rare and Unique Coin Division on a fairly reg. basis. They mentioned to me it was the other way around. Anyway, both fall under the umbrella of the same owner: Asset Marketing Services, LLC which you mention in Bullion Forum the other day.

NGC just says privately owned but by whom, I'm not sure...

Asset Marketing Services also privately owned...so who knows for sure who owns what.....lol ................... http://www.amsi-corp.com/aboutus.asp

Anyway, somewhat interesting timeline below of mergers/acquisitions etc.

the coin looks great would be even better if MCM the seller actually posted this out. I bought one on 28th November and he hasn't posted it out nor has he answered my email of two days ago so have sent another. If you read his feedback on eBay he may be a power seller but he isn't that great and people who bought the Coca Cola coin are complaining it has not been received. Beginning to feel that the guy is a shyster. I would really love this coin but if this guy doesn't pull finger I will cancel and get my money back as I am beginning to doubt the existence of the coin. Supposed to be a mintage of 25,000 so if its around I am sure I can pick it up from a reputable seller at some time in the future.

I'm selling these 2-coin sets (3 sets available, 1 set sold)............only 89 of these sets exist with both coins grading PF70FR

Free shipping, PM if interested. The set is special because of the 'cease and desist' order handed to the Pobjoy Mint by the Royal Mint. Info on the controversial coins from 2017 here.

Price: $450 USD (OBO) Btw.... only 500 coins were struck with 'No Motto' in 2017. Most people don't know this information. The coins 'with Motto' only have (89) graded PF70FR

See NGC census info here https://www.ngccoin.com/census/world/fa ... /?c=796821

TCS just put up the coke bottle coin if you are interested. Their price atm is $38.95 CAD. Mintage says: Minted to demand
(although other sources eg. Powercoin say Mintage: 25k)

Apmex sure is getting into making exclusive collector sets:

I like the Angel set, but will wait for a price drop.

Look at this 2017 Pegasus set with only 300 mintage, selling for 1/2 price now. (Personally, I don't like the design because Athena looks awkward.)

Wow, that is a pretty good price but I have been narrowing down my collecting mainly to hand poured silver. I posted this YPS product on the bullion forum and it sold out in less than 12 hours. YPS held back 6 just for some that may have missed the initial release (I thought that was thoughtful & very cool), 100 was the mintage:

+1

Two different things to mention:

1) Fresh News........a while back I had talked about an upcoming special coin design never done before (ground breaking type of coin).........well.....after a couple months of delay......the special 3oz silver colourized coin commissioned/designed by PowerCoin but manufactured by CIT will release on Friday (day after tomorrow) Mintage: 499

2) btw, in other news, I quite like this other 1oz new release...particularly the obverse......and it's relatively cheap Mintage:1500 The diameter is listed at 67mm, which makes me think this is 'maybe' a CIT item... Not many producer make 1oz stuffs 67 mm diameter [EDIT] BUT....just noticed this is not a silver coin but rather Cupronickel - Gold.....hmmm....
