Unfortunately, my Platinum Prestige expires in 12 days. lol.
But do you qualify for Platinum Plus? Need to spend only $5000 and you get same advance notice as Prestige.
Have a nice day!

I, too, happened to see the preview of the puzzle coin on CC&C prior to the pics being removed. What do you think of this new puzzle coin vs last year's canada 150 one???

At first I wasn't sure. The small section they revealed looked dull compared to last year's coin, which is stunning with its colourful provincial shields.

Though this second coin didn't look too exciting at first glance, I like the idea of using sepia to recreate the look of the original historic photos. The gold border around each photo could contrast nicely with the gold plating in the centre piece, which could make it another must have coin.

Also, I find this second coin more interesting because each piece represents the history of our evolving country. I like the idea of sepia to recreate the look of the original historic photos but am having a hard time imagining the overall look, based on just a small section of stock photo.

Update: Just saw the photo of the whole coin on CCF. Looks good, but not as good as the coin in my imagination....lol

Am also passing because of increased limit per household.

At US$ 850 you looking at around $1100 CDN. Add on shipping and possible taxes you are at $1200.

The prices on eBay has dropped everyday. The lowest asking prices are now $1195. Not only that, every single listing is at best offer. That means sold prices are even lower than asking prices.
So why would you buy from Apmex when you could probably get it for a lower price on eBay.

The Carousel coin is not doing as well as expected. Probably due to the mintage of 1000, which is too high.

So a word of caution for the 5 oz Glass Bugs. Expensive coins rarely do well.

apmex sold out. they sold 2: one for $850 USD and another one $900 USD . I think the carousel is doing not bad at all.

Apmex only had 2 carousel coins anyway.

If you look at eBay, the carousel coin is not doing well at all. No sales for more than 10 days with sellers slashing prices every day. There are now 3 listings for CDN$1019 with best offer option. CDN$ 1019 is about US$775 which is lower than the US$850/$900 sold prices. Those coins probably sold before the decline in price.
Have a nice day!

True. But it's still interesting to note that both West Edmonton Coin and Imaginaire have sold the Carousel Coin for $1,199.95 within the last week.
