Power Coin email this morning said ‘only few pieces left’ Hephaestus
Just checked and OOS @ 599.95 euro = $679.23 USD = $899.47 CAD
It’s one thing to ask that price, it’s another thing to go OOS at that price
Interesting to watch...

Interesting idea. Only 1969 produced
First GITD Springbok (Moon landing commemorative)............interestingly this is not a silver krugerrand...........country is Gabon rather than South Africa...........
and it doesn't say krugerrand (lol)......but I like design idea
RCM will see this and repeat with Caribou, beaver, loon, maple leaf etc.......lol

New Mauquoy Rhino 5 oz looks nice too.........too bad can't have em all !!........decisions decisions

Hephaestus on eBay now.
One dealer has several listings in 6 different currencies on eBay, ranging from $900 to $1,049 CDN.
TWC has matched Powercoin's last sold price of 599.99 Euro. Still available.
Those of us who bought below $600 CDN at TCS and Dazzling are smiling now...and to think that price seemed ridiculous to me yesterday.
Looks like socialism has crept into the numi world...lol.
Dealers are now taking profits for this third coin instead of flippers, so far. Can't really blame them.

I was surprised to see an immediate sellout of the 2019 5oz Maple Leaves in Motion Silver coin at all dealers.
Noticed the stock photo right away, but was jaded, thinking about the inevitable price drop of most RCM 5oz coins.
Then I saw it live on TSC and understood why it was so popular. Managed to find one slightly above issue.
Still could drop, but I think that's less likely than others.

I ordered one from the RCM but have yet to receive it. It is one of the better looking 5 oz coins in recent years. One of the reasons for the quick sell out is the low mintage of 1000 for a 5 oz coin. Remember the Big coin series is at 1500 or above. Also, the previous 5 oz Maple Leaves were at 2000 and 1500.Looney4Numi wrote: ↑Feb 12th, 2019 9:01 pmI was surprised to see an immediate sellout of the 2019 5oz Maple Leaves in Motion Silver coin at all dealers.

Funny the dealers are sold out of the 5 oz Maple Leaves but still have the Pysanka at a higher price in stock. CC&C sold out almost immediately of the 5 oz coin.
Have a nice day!

I had the opportunity to buy it from CC&C, but hesitated. It looks much better in real life. So, tried to find one, but they were all sold out, and then had to chase one down.LonesomeDove wrote: ↑Feb 12th, 2019 11:01 pmIt is one of the better looking 5 oz coins in recent years. Next time I get a feeling about a coin I'll buy from CC&C and just cancel or return if it doesn't look as good as expected. Lesson learned.
Only two dealers selling Pysanka coin now. TCS for $174.95 and WE Coin for $189.95. Each store has a limit of one.

Been awhile since I last posted. Got an email from my RCM rep advising my removal from their portfolio. My response, hopefully it helps (but doubt it), and hopefully any others who are getting similar notices will take a minute to respond to their reps as well
Thank you for the notice XXXX.
Unfortunately, I have not purchased much from the RCM in a long while. Just thought I would let you know why.
1) Prices are too high,
2) Value for the most part does not hold (in other words wait 6-12 months for deep discounts on secondary market),
3) Too many offerings each release usually based on the same themes each year,
4) Quality in product has diminished greatly over the years
5) Ranges set for MC statuses are unattainable by a casual collector,
6) Overall lack of interest in coins in general by the buying public since about 2012.
I still sneek peek what's happening with you guys and some of the offerings you guys show from other Mints. They are AWESOME.
