So I'm guessing we should have a US bank account when redeeming our investments, or will Quadrigacx convert to Cad for us?
You can sell BTC or ETH to Canadian dollars. You do not need a US bank account.

EFT / Direct bank transfer is a max of $100k with a cap of $100k per 24 hrs. This method of transfer is done within 7 business days. There is no fee to withdraw.
A few other options:
1. Express bank transfer (2% fee) which is done within 3 business days. $100k cap/24 hr period.
2. Interac e-transfer (2% fee plus $5) done within 2 business days. $10k cap/24 hr period
3. Cash delivery (2% fee plus $20) done within 3 business days. $10k cap/24 hr period
4. Bank Wire (free) done within 10 business days. $500k cap/24 hr period

Any suggestion on what wallet I would want to use for this? I don't have any wallet now - my ideal would be having the ATM spit out a receipt; but that likely isn't possible. I'm an iphone guy if that matters.
Basically, I just want the easiest way to get the bitcoin from the ATM to my home so that I can use my laptop to upload to binance.

I still haven't been verified by QuadigaCX and can't even verify with kraken. I feel like I've missed huge profits - a few that I have been following (with thanks to RFD) have doubled or tripled since I've been looking. ugh!

Thanks for all the help.
this is the reason I stick with coinsquare. got instantly verified by them through equifax. it didnt work with quadiga, so I never bothered sending my IDs to them and I am happy with coinsquare so far.

you have no ideas how a report of stolen credit card (...) affect your credit. Happened twice in your history, that bank won't issue a credit card for you

Why are you having so much trouble getting verified? Maybe your ID doesn't match your facial shot? I signed up last week and basically got verified within minutes with CoinBase and Binance. I just got verified with Kraken on the weekend.
Weird. Maybe I will try some new pictures. I had no problem with Binance. But Kraken won't even give me options on "get verified" and Quad hasn't said yes or no. I haven't tried CoinBase because if the limited funding, but maybe I should at this point.

At least with CoinBase you can start investing a bit now until you get verified. The coins are booming since I bought last week.

QuadrigaCX is crazy slow on verifying so what I did was start putting money in through Coinbase and Coinsquare to get my investments started then once QuadrigaCX finished my verification I started transferring money through there. QuadrigaCX has the lowest transfer fees and have the largest transfer limits compared to coinbase and coinsquare, both of which will slowly up your limit over weeks. Be aware, once you're verified on Quadriga, it'll take a few days to deposit funds.

Play around with the small deposits Coinbase and Coinsquare allow you, this will let you get familiar with investing in the main coins + altcoins and transferring the coins between wallets. Once your main deposits from Quadriga come in, you'll be comfortable with the platforms.

Hello, I've currently got my XRP in a paper wallet generated through www.ripplepaperwallet.com and I wanted to know how to go about moving it to a different wallet or exchange medium (Binance, ezbtc) ?
Binance accounts obviously allow deposits of XRP, but only provide the receiving account information - where do I go to insert the address and secret key of my current wallet for transfer ?? Thanks in advance !

Which wallet is best for XLM? What about Lobster Wallet?

(Yes I'm looking into the Ledger Nano, but in the meantime I'd like to take my XLM out of Binance).

Thanks.

What's the easiest way to track the value of your portfolio? Is there a formula I can use in Google Sheets?

Okay - more dumb questions for me. I went coinbase just to get in. Rookie mistake is I bought LTC instead of BTC. I've transferred to Binance. Am I correct in believing that I can only use BTC on Binance to buy others (I want XRP, ADA, XLM, ETN and TRX).

Thanks in advance

It's not a big deal, in fact, LTC is probably less fees than BTC when you are doing the transfer. You can simply trade LTC for BTC in Binance, then to the alt coins you want.

Thank you sir.

And thank you Raggie for the advice on coinbase.
