Any suggestions on where to get the best price on a Dura Ace R9100 gruppo? PBK has it for about $1700. Any shop with a better price?

That seems like a really good price.

CRC might beat it depending on configuration

Merlin is $1859

Ribble is $2185:

London
For those of you in the London, Ontario area and want to see a cycling documentary, MAMIL is going to be playing on October 29.

If you've tried to watch this film, you've noticed how incredibly difficult it is to find. For those that do not know it check out this link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7890942/pl ... _=tt_ov_pl

I have been able to coordinate a viewing date in London at Hyland Cinema (240 Wharncliffe Road South, London, ON, N6J 2L4), available now on October 29, 2018, at 7:00 PM. You register for your tickets here: https://tickets.demand.film/event/6103

Note, that if we don't get 50 people to sign up for tickets, we don't get to watch the movie, so spread the word. Your charges for tickets don't get billed unless the movie shows. Right now we need 37 more tickets to be sold to make the showing happen - tell all of your cycling friends!!!!

Let me know if you have questions and hope to see you all there!

CRC doesn't price match PBK and they don't offer price match outside the UK http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ca/e ... -guarantee
I'm not suggesting price match.

what i meant was CRC had a range of prices for the groupset depending on configuration....not knowing what configuration he's looking for, i can't tell if it's cheaper or not

PBK by far has the best prices esp when compared to local unless you can find a used or brand new take off group. But if order the entire group, fingers crossed you dont get hit by customs. In the past I have ordered partial groups piece by piece to avoid the tax hammer. CRC has a duties and tax paid shipped price which Ive always thought was a good deal.

Can anyone comment on brand/quality of these bikes from Fuji (Budget 400-600)

Palette
Absolute 2.3
Absolute 1.9

I plan to check them out at bikesonwheels and wanted to see if anyone has experience with this bike/brand. My friend has one (Fuji Stroll) and it rights great for long distance city commuting/travel.

I'm looking for a city/hybrid bike for some light commuting, city travel, and trails (every now and then). Looking for a new bike that you don't need to pedal/push hard (which I found with my current mountain bike) to get acceleration and was exhausted after about 1 km of riding.

Anyone here follow the BlackSmith Cycle instagram?
https://www.instagram.com/blacksmithcycle/?hl=en

So much bike porn on there, really want to splurge on a steel Cherubim but don't know how I can justify such an expensive bike to the wife without having to sell my current bike
Its your lucky day. I just got an email from them to announce they are having their end of season sale and putting up their display and demo bikes for sale!

Merlin ships UPS? Ive never bought from them before but UPS might be a an unpleasant brokerage surprise. Hope you catch a break.

Yeah, I hope it doesn't hurt as much as I'm anticipating. UPS left me a voicemail yesterday asking who I wanted to broker my parcel. That's a first for me, though it may be because I've done my own brokering in the past when it comes to them.
