What do you tell your wife with all these things coming in and out?!?

The Propel is sweet. Is it stiff like the tcr?
no not as stiff, the TCR is superstiff. Probably stiffest bike there is.

My wife is very understanding. We're both lucky in the sense that we both have good jobs. Only killer is our daughter's school bills.

The color on the SL1 is very similar to your TCR.

Yeah that bike looks awesome.
How is that seat tube situation?
Ones they cut it that's it? If you want to sell the bike the buyer has to be the same height, inseam, etc?

I think whenever r1lee posts about his dilemmas/questions on ANY forum, we should prefix our replies with "first world problems!" :)

The Propel looks even nicer in person... black matte carbon with really sleek lines.

Seriously. The black is quite nice. I saw one in person and it looks great.

Unlike my tcr. Gosh is that silver and blue paint scheme ugly. The only thing that's good is that it looks like a crappy bike = less attention.

My caad looks like ccm ice paint scheme. Haha..
I love that it's raw alu in the back though. That's the part of the bike I like people to see :)

That's the idea.
My lbs is swapping the 404 for 202.

My 303's will go on the propel and the 202's will go on the domane.

My aero bars are pre sold and stem. And my order is in for the integrated aero bars on the sl0.

Yes that is a problem, but for my height of 5'11 my inseam is pretty high at 33". So a lot left over to cut.

Anyone want my 1398g Easton ea90slx's?
Tempted to try some Asian Alibaba wheels for hilly and not everyday use rides.
Hunfu, dengfu, yishun
Opinions??
I've ridden 50mm Yishun clinchers for the last few years. I like them. Not sure if anything has changed company/quality-wise. Check out RBR.

just around Kleinburg.

I'm going to change our schedule. I sold my TCR to Ian. I have a Propel SL1 2014 on order. That will be delivered roughly the same time as my Domane. So no bike, well i still have the TCR but I don't want to ride it just in case anything happens.

We will change the ride around my neighbourhood to the week before the ride, so September 1st.

Now i have SRAM RED 22 Group up for sale. No brakes, anyone interested? used for a 66km ride over the weekend. Brand new Bottom bracket.
Ian must be smiling right now. He is getting a great bike. Love the paint scheme on the SL1..Screams "take my money"!! Lets swap Propel's mid ride when mine comes in. I am curious about the ride difference from your SL and my Advance 2..

My last road bike had a 52-42 crank with a straight cassette and I remember suffering a lot more on pink even with a lot better fitness. With the compact on the big rear cog, it's slow and steady and but even with my cramped calf, I still made it up there without swerving all over the road.
Hehe - I used to ride my vintage Miele 42/52, 13-19 through The Park. Downtube shifters, no sissy indexing, out of the saddle for every climb. Only needed 2 gears -- 52-13 and 42-19. Cut 10min off the big loop once I built a new bike.
