I think I applied for this job when I came out of university. So it's good start for someone in their early 20s.

And ironically this job is a block away from McDonald's.

Well it would be distracting at least from the horror of it all when you read your paycheck.

The other issue is if the hottie knows your hourly wage your screwed

Wish this wasn't in TO or I would apply. Applied to a bunch of data entry jobs here and even with 100wpm+ seems difficult to get anything good.
Abuse of power and position. i.e. "me, me, me above any set rules"

What do you consider as "anything good"?

If a position requires 100wpm+...it's an indication that it's meant to be a high load, high efficiency and high accuracy environment. Wouldn't they have gone for some form of automation solution by now (2017)?

The McDonald's comparisons are dumb; they want someone more skilled than the average McDonald's employee but don't want to pay them accordingly. The reality is that whoever takes this job will be underpaid based on what their job description is.

Its a great question.

We already know the job's description and hourly rate. Its a demanding job and most of us are not fond of a sausage fest so if there aint no eye candies to look at it'd be a pass for me bob. Lolz ;)

If you have ublock origin, you can add this to your rules to hide the sticky posts (that are usually irrelevant and/or sponsored, at least on hot deal):
! cannet/carrytel rfd spam
forums.redflagdeals.com##.row-item:has-text(/[cC]an[nN]et|[cC]arry[tT]el/)

! rfd pollution

DealFixation wrote: Will this position's hourly rate increase by $3.40 come January 2019? (maintaining the higher hourly rate above minimum wage, not accounting for inflation or other potential rate increases).
There are regular reviews and raises in this role, but there isn't any job on earth that's going to increase every wage in the company by the difference between their pay and minimum wage when minimum wage increases. That's just not a relevant metric.

You expect them to pay you 250k for an entry level job while you complain all day about deals and saving down to the last penny, how does this make sense??

surprisingly enough, neither vancouver nor toronto pays well, in fact, vancouver pays the least as the lowest paying area in the country for tech field, with toronto slightly better as 2nd lowest, don't have the link but i read it on forbes. also, i worked in a lot of places including toronto so i can confirm.
