More likely he clicked a HTTPS URL and the site sticks on that until you hit a non HTTP URL.

The dev team will be working on this issue in Q1 2020.

Hope to see this resolved. I've left the "Secure" area multiple times over the last few days.

Same here: still often end up with security warnings. Please fix Tom!

The link in the email to see the thread specifies http, NOT https.

@TomRFD , Devs, maybe worth fixing?

And weirdly enough some emails have http, some have https
If we can't have http removed from the site entirely, can you at least look into this @TomRFD
I click on links sometimes and always get dumped into HTTP.
Sure I could amend it to HTTPS but that's a pain in the butt.

@TomRFD - signing in from the "sign in page" lands you to the non secure forums. Just an FYI.

Man, even an F5 refresh can knock me off the SSL site. This is getting crazy.

Jesus guys it’s 2020. Virtually every single site on the Internet has switched to https only - how is this possibly still not working correctly on rfd??

I ended up installing a Chrome extension that always looks for HTTPS.

We're actively looking into this right now. Barring any unforeseen delays, it should be fixed within the next few weeks.

Look like you are using "phpBB" (forum software) on the bottom footer section - https://www.phpbb.com/, this system is having many problems, bugs, and broken links all the times

How about moving to new "XEN FORO" - https://xenforo.com/ which has more secures, updates and more faster?
