So can anyone stop Siakam? Cause the guy's gonna be MVP if the Raps contend for the best record at the end of the year

He has 3 spins, the 360, the 180, and the 90 fade away. And if you guess wrong which spin he'll do you're screwed. The huge dudes simply can't match his footwork

Also he has perimeter shooting

I guess you could get the entire team to swarm him but pretty much everyone else on the Raps can shoot :D
Swarm Siakim?

Once they start triple teaming him... he’ll figure out the first ever snow board esque 1080 degree mctwist.

Bball... super saiyan style.
Then he slam dunks it so hard it punches a hole through the earth.

It's funny how, as fans watching the Raptors regularly, you can guess with good accuracy when Siakam is going to spin and which way. But for opponents guarding it, it's difficult to anticipate.

There would have to be a help defender that literally steps into the spot first, right when he's about to spin (assuming they can anticipate it first of all), and take a charge. Otherwise, the only defense is hoping he lays it short off the glass.

He has trouble against Giannis. If Pascal hits some 3s early in the game though he becomes much more of a load to handle for anyone.

Trading DeRozan was the best move Masai made as GM:

- It brought a Championship via: greatly improved defense.
- Two elite defenders, and 3 point shooters (Kawhi and Green), even though both 'Chip and Dipped at the end of the season.
- Allowed Pacal Siakam to break out, get playing time and learn alongside one of the greats in Kawhi
- Now every rotation player on the Raptors in 2019 are viable three point threats, except Patrick McCaw.

Meanwhile, DeRozan has not made a single 3 point shot in 13 games this year and the Spurs are 5-8 with DeRozan taking shots away from Aldridge.
Spurs allegedly tried to trade DeMar's contract in the summer to create enough space to sign a 3 point bomber in Bojan Bogdanovic but were unsuccessful finding a suitor.

One quarter out and these refs already showing their awful bias calls. Where do the NBA recruit these crooks?! So much contact with the the Raps, no calls. Mavs get blown on and whistles go off.

Raptors go 3 out of 5 on a very tough road trip. That Dallas team has some good players there including a Delon Wright sighting.

Heard there was a guy named Cuban at the game. He was busy handing out some Cubans. A bunch of guys in striped shirts took them all before anyone else showed up. LOL.

The only two games the Raptors lose on this trip, they attempted 15 free throws, while Clippers and Dallas had 30+ attempts at the line. That says it all.

That aside, Siakam was forcing up so much garbage. He has to take what the defense gives him and make good passes - way too many careless passing turnovers.

Raptors need to get a player for rebound. We are really hurting on the board. Ok not Gasol is the most reliable player to get rebound.

Siakam always has bad games if his defender is as tall as him

Yup, too much forcing, Pascal needs to be more like Kawhi and get his teammates involved when his shots aren't dropping. Attack and dish out, he had teammates open for a shot multiple times, just has to find them.

And Nurse will need to re-thing how he plays Matt Thomas, when he's hot in the 2nd qtr you can't sit him down in the 2nd half so long and then put him back in at the end of 3rd qtr and expect him to make shots again, I think they need to get that guy more involved in the offense, have him touch the ball more often offensively, set some screens to get him open, do what the Clips, Phily were doing for JJ Redick to get him open 3 shots. There are better options than him defensively but I think he's the best shooter on the team.

Yea but he finished the season with another team, so technically he was still playing that remainder of season.

Drake never received a ring from them too, and he was the sideline cheerleader..lol
