I'm not sure if my question was answered but I'll ask again.

I"m looking to buy a Muhle r41. Where in Toronto can I pick up?

Not sure where you can pickup, but here are a couple great Canadian web sites to order from;

https://www.fendrihan.ca/
http://www.italianbarber.com/

While sold out, they may have a display if you want to check it out in person on the Danforth
http://www.menessentials.ca/brand/muhle.html

If anyone knows any other physical stores in Toronto (preferably out of the downtown core) so we can window shop please let me know :)

Anyone know which stores in the GTA carry TOBS shaving cream? I am considering buying online but don't know which scent I'll like. Would love to be able to get a sense before committing.

Sandalwood is probably TOBS' most popular scent and it's on sale for $15 (free shipping @$50):

There's a reputable guy on Reddit (though I haven't dealt with him personally) who restores and hones vintage razors, and at that price is probably your best bet. https://www.reddit.com/r/Shave_Bazaar/c ... wout_sale/

My Nivea after shave balm has methylparabens in it. Should I bin it?

Did you ever try the alum? I don't use aftershave balm, I only use moisturizer. I use the alum as a deoderant.

I use it once and awhile, but I find it leaves my face tight feeling. I think it's good for minor rashes and nicks when shaving as it has antiseptic properties to it. I find I can't use the alum and a moisturizer on top of it since it seems to seal my face and the moisturizer won't get absorbed in to the skin.

I would use it and then rinse it off after the bleeding stops.
