RFD using subliminal ads
So RFD is using subliminal advertising. AFAIK this is not allowed in Canada. Or at least you should let people know.

Nov 9th, 2009 09:10 PM #4Sometimes, when I close a RFD window/tab an ad appears for a very short time. It's not a pop-up, it's some other technology. Maybe I can get a screenshot someday but I just don't have the time to deal with that.

What you're seeing is not normal behavior on this website. Scan your PC for spyware and adware... Try Malwarebyte Anti-Malware or Microsoft Security Essentials, both of which are free.

You might of picked up an MTD (malware-transmitted-disease) off one those XXX sites.
I've never seen anything closing RFD tabs on chrome, firefox, IE, or safari.

Doesn't do that to me on Firefox or IE.
I wonder if you do have malware, and as soon as it pops up, your AM kills it?

We do not run any sort of popup/popunder ads, so what you are seeing is completely unrelated to our website and as others have pointed out, sounds like you have some malware on your computer.
