These JDM vans are really neat - but I can't imagine owning one as my primary vehicle!

They're 15+ years old and parts are more expensive. They're neat and all but come on people!

You guys don't know what you are looking at. The gold badges are a tell-tale sign, this is a special luxury edition Odyssey tailored for the Yakuza. Look at the wooden sun shades inside - those are hand made.

It's even got the Yakuza hitch used to tow bodies --- i mean meat.

....and according to a few recent threads here getting them insured is difficult too!

Yep! And judging by it’s pretty good condition for a 23 yr old vehicle they must have had it bugged and guarded 24/7 by one of those 2 finger guys trying to stay in the bosses good books by looking after his van for him...

True, but that ins't an issue here in BC. Except if you have a claim you won't get anything as ICBC doesn't value these cars at anything.

My cousin's buddy works at a shop where they specifically service right side Japanese cars. Definitely out there and a niche market.

Wasn't more money being offered to the rural Canada Post drivers a sore spot with the latest strike? Maybe if they get the extra wage increase they could be balling in a supreme motor chariot such as this.

If I had to spend that much in a RHD van, I rather get a Mistsubishi Delica and offroad the crap out off it.
