Rock Band 3

Got drunk with some friends last night and played Rock Band until the wee hours of the morning. Had a blast.

Decided that I'd like my own copy. I was hoping to get Rock Band 3, because it has the most instruments and singers available. It's sold out everywhere.

I was just wondering why? I'm assuming it has something to do with Harmonix/MTV games shutting down? I thought Madcats was going to pick up the publishing/distribution rights or something and re-release it with instruments.

Can anyone help me shed some light on why I can't find it?

Anyone have a copy for PS3 they're looking to sell?

I believe your reasoning is sound. I'm surprised that RB3 hasn't made it back to the shelves with a reduced price tag yet though.

Oh Harmonix is still around, hell DLC is released every week. Theres just no push to have a distributor to do a mass run of copies of RB3 cause the big box stores aren't willing to have the instruments taking up shelf space anymore (they've done a small run for MadKatz to sell online). So if there's one still on a shelf, its cause it never sold in the great $20 purge last year

So you gotta do everything online. Honestly kijiji is the best, tons of people who've moved on from the game and don't want the stuff taking up space anymore. Madkatz sells direct off their website, including the game with a bass or a strat.
I bought my Warbeast off Amazon but it looks like they don't carry it anymore.
