I wonder (when this is back up and running) if this will work for people who have previously signed up for NextIssue and cancelled?

I was able to sign up by clicking on 'existing account' and then signing in using myrogers account. In checkout, I selected my rogers account instead of credit card (also entered the above promo code). Shows nothing on RogersFirstRewards but I guess that might take time for the points to reflect on the account.

Looks like because I already had a trial NextIssue account (even using the same bonus30 code), I am not eligible for this. Though I could always try with a different email address :)

So.. can this be cancelled whenever? and how long until the points are applied to the account?

EDIT: So im trying to go through with this right now and it doesn't give me an option to use my Rogers account. I can only use a credit card for some reason.

EDIT: it didn't work for the 'unlimited Premium" but it does work for "Unlimited Basic"

Just logged in and signed up with the My Rogers account and BONUS30 code. Went through, but didn't receive a confirmation of it being free. Got to check my account to make sure this isn't some sort of Rogers hack job fleecing money.
