Went to home show today and I was passing by the Rogers store too see what promo they had. They were offering the gigabit + popular + basic hp for $109.99/month, 2 years guaranteed price with 2 months free TMN, HBO and Encore
And
you can add Smart Home Monitoring Assure package at $39.99 ( regular price $49.99) with free hardware and installation and additional free door lock.
Is there a code I would need to provide in order to get this if I call Rogers?

Thanks.

If you signed up for a 2 year term, then your price will remain at $99 for the remainder of the term. The corresponding bundle discount would increase by $5 to offset the $5 price increase.

Your price won't go up then if that is what it says in the notice as you are on a promotional rate. Good to know they didn't find some way to weasel their way around that.

Ah i'd rather stick to the 100u for $60. Similar speeds, not much of a difference IMO. or even $70 for 250u.

Can I just call in to get this as an existing customer? Also, isn't the $60 deal not available to existing?

Agreed. At the time I switched to Rogers, I was on 30u. It wasn't quite good enough, but it was reasonable. I do track things on my router, so even 60u would be acceptable - Really just something that will manage multiple simultaneous netflix streams + other usage at the same time.

In particular though is my target pricing: I want it to be in the $40-60 range. Paying an extra $10 for faster speeds that I have no use for/need of isn't worth it.

Ideal (for me) would be if they have something around 50u at $50

Long time customer with Rogers (8 years) and would have all 3 services with them expiring in 1 week (March 28th).
I am currently on (pre tax)

100u - $67.49

Basic Cable - $37.49
NextBox HD Terminal Rental - $12.95
Savings: Ignite Bundle- ends Mar 28/17 - $-5.45
NextBox 3.0 HDPVR Rental - $24.95
Savings: Ignite Bundle- ends Mar 28/17 - $-7.45
Digital Services Fee - $2.99
2 HDTV Channel Pak
0.00
Extra Outlet Fee: $7.49

HP - $19.58
Unlimited NA LD
Call Return
Call Waiting
Call Transfer
MTA Equipment Rental
Call Display
Online-Manager
Voicemail

roughly $160 now that its last 6 months

Would be happy to get all 3 services again but want 1Gb and fully featured home phone if I get it, don't care about tv package. What's the best I could get right now, and would it have to be through retentions? I'm looking for something like the U63 but I wouldn't mind keeping HP with them as well, depending on price.

Could I get a deal like U63 on the same account and through retentions or would signing up under a different account and name be my only option at this point, other than switching that is.
Any advice would be great, thanks!

phoned retentions today as my current 2 yr deal expires on the 26th...
called threatened to leave for Bell unless my bill gets reduced from $195
Currently have:
100u internet
digital VIP
home phone basic service
all for $195

She quoted me:
150u internet
popular tv + kids package ($5)
home phone basic
all for $225

i don't want my bill going up by $30 a month, so we argued.....long standing customer for 15 years yadda yadda.....ended call with no resolution, how do i get it just stay the same or reduced?

Every 2 years i phone to renew my contract and i get a great deal and they bend over backwards, this woman today in Vancouver wasnt budging and neither was i....told her i would calling back in the 26th to cancel, called their bluff and will try again tomorrow with a different agent.

Also mentioned the u63 $99 popular + gigabit internet deal...she said she had never heard of it

i even tried fb messenger chat with a rep...he came back right away saying "currently we have no promotions" ...end of chat

anybody any joy with this $99 as an existing customer or anybody recommend a good deal to strike on? i don't want to pay over $200

Can someone tell me what the new customer deal is for internet only? Looking to spend no more than 65+tax a month. Also, unlimited optional...can work with a 300-400gb limit

Can someone please explain to me what's better, the OLD Digital VIP channel package which supposedly has 270 channels or the new TV Premier package which supposedly has 130 channels. I feel like I'm missing something.

You will need to go higher than Retentions. Your next step is to escalate to Management - http://www.rogers.com/consumer/contactu ... -a-concern. Management will likely not be able to offer you very much but you still have to follow the step. Once you are finished with Management, you need to escalate to the Office of the President - this team should have the authority to offer you the 99$ deal amongst other plans. If this step fails you, you will need to bring your case before the Ombudsman.
