I got #3 price with 150 internet.
Nice - That's pretty much right at what i'd consider an acceptable price/bundle that would keep me 100% with Rogers for when my renewal comes up. I know it's going to be a lot worse then what I have now, but that is very much ok.

What i'd probably ask for is no pvr/hdbox (I already own), but include Space + news bundle.

Unlimited + reasonable channel selection, < $100 after tax is two thumbs up :)

zaidyboy, if you see this . . .

--500u internet w modem
--1 HD box (I have a paid-for PVR)
--Popular TV package plus MovieNetwork/Hbo + timeshift + AlJazeera
--Home phone Canada-wide + 3 features
Monthly cost $175, incl. tax
Should I do better???? If so, only thru Facebook?
very expensive. You can definitely get that down to $130 to $140 mark as an existing customer...taxes in

That doesn't really say a lot for 'retention'. You had made an offer that I would think should have been doable within the agent's abilities: The 150u offer at 79.99 with a $15 monthly re-occuring credit would have taken it to $64.99, less then the expected teksavvy pricing (68.95)
I'm wondering about this $15 monthly reoccurring credit. Is this something they offer?
My contract doesn't expire until April but since the price is going up I'm wondering if I can call early to get an internet only deal. Currently have 100u for 64.99 plus tax. What's the best internet only deal for unlimited internet, appreciate any input.

My contract will be ending soon probably this spring. Currently I'm paying $113(taxes included) with a bundle of TV(digital plus) which included fairchild channel, internet(ignite 60) and home phone. Free netbox 3.0 rental. I heard they changed the naming packages on the tv cable. Do you guys know if I could get anything close to that now?

I don't know what Roger's policy is with applying manual reoccurring credits. Who can offer them, what the maximum amount is, do agents have a monthly maximum, etc.

I do know i've seen people get them applied to their bill though.

Perhaps there's someone that could provide more exact information on Roger's policy?

On my promotion that just ended they told me they could only do a manual credit for 6 months. I had to call in every 6 months to get it renewed (Sometimes a hassle, sometimes very quick) They seemed very reluctant to offer me a manual credit again this time but they finally did through the porting centre. I'm not sure if I have to call after 6 months again. I also seem to recall it was $200 max. I'm not sure if this is policy but that was my experience.

The email I received from the field agent had it at $119 but when I called in to set-up installation she said it was $109. So maybe a mix-up on their end? Regardless the sales rep on the phone said it was one of the best deals she's ever seen :). Thanks RFD!
Where can I find the info for the field agent?

If they did not provide you with the new price point starting March 12, you can easily get credited it for it. Your pricing will most definitely change to $77.99 /month BEFORE taxes.

Rogers employees were instructed to provide new pricing of internet plans starting February 5th 2018. If you do see an increase in your invoice, you have every right to get that credited back and file a complaint with CRTC.
I get the same offer via Facebook chat today as well, $69.99 before tax for the Ignite 500U. I ask if its already included the $8 price hike or not, and get this response: “The price is what it is as of today. If their is any sort of price increase that would be additional”...
