Any feedback on this? Can I do better?
If you own your boxes, you can definitely get that down to around 105-110 with current promos.

To be honest, my vote is no..that offer is not good in Mississauga area. Take a look at what mself and Hawk got, and that included PVR and HD box.

We're moving in 2 months. At current address I have U150 service at $68 tax in from before. Is it better to get better deal right now then move later? Or I can do it later while I move?

I'll most likely move into an area where the Bell service is going be better than what I have here. Thanks!

Yea in the grand scheme of things is it anywhere from a "Hot Deal"
It's a hell of a hot deal..anyone that jumps on it will likely get burned in the pocketbook.

Yeah you can, I own my boxes and just last week got Premier + Gig + Home Phone @ $94+tax for 2 years.

I mean, it’s not bad, and lower than many rep’s “best offer”, but you can get lower.

And keep in mind, it wouldn’t be the first time a rep told me “this doesn’t include a box rental” but in fact it did. Happened with my parents. Was told an HDPVR would be extra and when we went to the store to pick up a box, assuming it would add the additional charge, the rep informed us the plan included 1 free HDPVR rental. Lol, k.

how did you get that deal? who do i need to speak to lol
Rogers doesn't seem aggressive about new customers right now. They're after existing customers that have submitted a request to cancel.

If you're an existing customer? Submit a pre-dated cancellation request, and worst case 'cancel the cancellation'.

If that doesn't work because Rogers doesn't want you as a customer, and their pricing for you is pathetic? Switch providers.

New customer? I don't know if anyone has tried this but perhaps order any package from Rogers and then cancel it before hookup/1/2/4 weeks after connection? Don't know how long a connection would need to be active before Rogers computer would generate a 'winback' request.

Premier, Gigabit, home phone, TMN/HBO/TMN Encore for $114 for 2 years so ended up ahead of the VIP/Gigabit Promo I had once I added TMN.

Okay, kinda freaking out here. Cancelled my services yesterday for tomorrow and still haven't received an email or call back. Called Winback and they said they didn't have on record a call to me so they couldn't talk to me. Now I'm looking at having all my services cancelled tomorrow which I don't want! Any suggestions? Thanks everyone!

I'm currently using Teksavv (150d/10u) but the price increased to around $70 after tax, should switch to Rogers instead? I've been facing constant disconnection with their internet. Are there good deals for new customers right now?

A bell field agent mentioned a promo for 300 u for $55. Called in to Rogers and mentioned it to them and that I wanted to cancel. They bounce me around for awhile and I ended up getting 500 u for the same price.

Is that fixed or just for several months?
