On my parents account, the old rate was 104 + tax for ignite 500, popular, fairchild

Did a live chat and they applied new discount which will make it 102.99 + tax. My parents are happy. It's not the BEST deal, but they're happy about it.

There's a Rogers rep camping in my building. She's offering $32.99+tax for ignite 300 for 12 months. Seems really nice since I'm paying $30 to Virgin now. Only thing is I could not get the service to start after end of April.

Question: do Rogers' annual $5 increase apply to those deals? Or just regular prices?

Is it possible to get the Ignite 300 deal if I don't have a rep in building?

Are you a new customer? If not, what did you have to say or did you threaten to cancel?

I called Rogers today to cancel our rogers premier cable as we don't watch TV like we used to.

We pay $40 for gigabit internet and $70 for Premier with HBO/Crave and 4k PVR.

They tried to tell me if I cancel cable, our gigabit will go up to regular price of $160/month or some crap.

I am a new customer been with Bell for 15 months. I like Bell Fibe but like this deal better. I have been waiting for Ignite deals for a while.

Steve on Rogers live chat hooked me up. We were paying 118$ for 500u, select tv and basic home phone. After some haggling and telling him I wanted the new customer deal that a family friend got, he upgraded the select to popluar, 500u to gigabit and kept the basic home phone for 118 after taxes. I'm happy this is over with.

So I haven't had much luck dealing with rogers. I have my phone on my mother's plan and my SO has his on his own plan. I called rogers yesterday and he offered me 75u + select tv for 129.93. Wtf is this. I see better deals online. How are you guys getting good deals? What is the best way to go abouts doing it?

I received a flyer in the mail yesterday at my new condo for 500u for 55.99 with price for a year. Would it be worth getting that deal and adding cable to it? I'm seeing better deals like the above deal.

Got a better quote from Facebook yesterday.. $128 tax in for Select TV + CNN as add-on + Ignite 150 + Homephone.

Apparently there will be a price increase this year and the quoted price will go up as well.
My cable deal was expiring yesterday ahead of my internet and phone deal; I called to renegotiate and they offered me the same package as your facebook offer but $118 taxes in ( I own Netbox). I told them no and cancelled the cable on the spot. No calls from Winback as of yet. Will try again in April after their price increases kick in and hopefully some new deals will be available.

I'm also thinking about cancelling internet and phone and going over to Ebox FTTN50 @$30/month for a few months, long enough to qualify for new customer pricing with Rogers.

Existing customer in Toronto with expired deal and residing in apartment building without Bell upgrade

the best I could get from Facebook tonight was

75u
Select (no box, I own)
Home phone with 3 features+ unlimited NA long distance
$112.97 after tax, and no price increase on April 1st

I accepted, but plan to cancel as soon as Carrytel comes out with new superdeal (they're due).

Follow up with management office at (844) 410-5766 - that doesn't sound legitimate.
