Shouldn't they start counting from today and on? There is no way you downloaded that much in one day.

That is not one days usuage. The billing cycle is from February 25, to March 25. So this is a total from February 25, to March 17th

Sorry, no porn either. Too bad. It is not even P2P. I am backing up servers from seven different locations.

Usage Period: Feb 27/05 - Mar 26/05
Usage up to: Mar 03, 2005
That's what mine says.... my usage hasn't been updated since March 3rd, although I'm not at all complaining lol.
Based on my downloading it should be around 200GB not 27GB as it says currently.

Gee, do you have to sign up for that in advance, or when I sign up, they will have the information available?
(I haven't signed up for customer service, and the primary email address and password isn't valid.)

It is not tied to your primary email at all.
Go to www.rogers.com, at the top, you will see register
Enter any user name
Enter desired password
Then enter your account number from any invoice.
It works right away. In fact they go back 3 months, so you can see your prior usage.

If you leave your computer on 24 / 7, then you can get a rough guess
Open a Command Prompt
net statstics workstation
You will see your usage at the top. Both incoming and outbound.

I just called *****y Robbers Cable to find out when my billing cycle started, and dun-dun-da-daaaaaaa.......................my billing cycle starts the 17th of the month. Sucks to be me. Had it been yesterday I could have downloaded what I wanted until April 16 with no recourse. Ah well, I'm not changing my DL habits one bit.
In the immortal words of Matthew Wilder :
"Ain’t nothing gonna break my stride
Nobody gonna slow me down, oh, no
I’ve got to keep on downloading"

It only applies if you keep your machine on constantly. Once you shut it off or log out, it resets the counter.
Edit: March 24

This is my official count before my cap starts.
