Rogers cell phone commercial (unlimited weekends)
Did you guys see the commercial or hear it this on the radio where the guy gets a number off this girl and writes it on a piece of paper and forgets the last 2 digits and he spends all night calling and after 88 tries he finally manages to grab the right number?
Anyways, not to sound like I got no time on my hands but why couldnt the guy just write the number on his cell phone? The whole purpose of this commecial is because of the cell phone..
Who owns a cell phone and writes a girls number on a paper? LOL maybe its just me who doesnt get the commercial?

You (really) have too much time...
Who said that the girl told him the number. She could of just slipped the paper into his pocket as he was leaving.

Sorry to bump this thread but I have a semi-related question.
Does anyone know the name and artist of the song in the Rogers commercial where the kid can't sleep and he watches hockey highlights with the dad?

he needs something to do to use up his unlimited wekeends.. otherwise it would be pointless.

off topic, reminds me of the ford fusion commercial of the car driving down the side of the building.
when the guy presses the brakes, shouldn't the water splash against the windshield rather than towards the girls face?

On that note, with the evenings and weekends PAYG package, evenings are charged at 1cent/minute. Calling and asking if someone's name is Erin, would take less than a minute. So, 88 tries would only be 88cents (cheaper than the $1/day for unlimited)... I guess he could've talked to her longer. But I think they should've made it more than 88 calls, or something that'd cost more than the $1.. just my two cents.

I was curious about the featured music myself, so after some googling, I found out the song is called The One You Love the Most by Brett Dennen. He's really indie right now, so all you have is an online record distribution company with a sample of that song.
