Rogers cell phone contract to TRANSFER - $20/month

I am moving from Canada and giving away a Samsung phone that comes with a Rogers contract. There are 2 1/2 years left on the contract.

The contract is at follows:

* 100/1000 Eve/Weekend Plan
* 6 PM Early Evenings (Regular plans start @ 9PM)
* Unlimited Rogers to Rogers
* Unlimited Rogers to Fido

The contract goes for $20 (after $5 discount & before taxes, 911 fee, system access fee) a month; roughly $30 a month after fees & taxes. We will also prepay the first month for you.

The accompanying phone is the Samsung SGH-p207 in white. The phone is in excellent condition and comes with the box/manuals and supplied accessories. I'm also adding the USB cable and earphones (new) which did not come with the phone and were bought separately.

but just wondering how the transfer works exactly =S
do you have to phone into rogers and just make the transfer to the new number?
