Use ip 192.168.100.1 to access modem while is bridge mode.
Thanks very much.

I'm still on the .24 firmware.

I'm guessing I can still get the firmware updates with the modem in bridge mode?

I get the impression that this one could be an unstable alpha build. I think that's why they made it automatically flash back to the previous version if you do a hard reset. It's probably half baked.

Just a question recently updated to Rogers gigabit internet and sometimes there is serious download lag I'm assuming (I'm wired) can't even load certain youtube videos at times. I've tried resetting modem a few times I figured with wired there wouldn't be any issues.

I have the 3552 and I'm in the beta program - my version is .22 - yesterday they updated us to .29 but then downgraded us back to .22 a few hours later because of problems with the .29

I didn't experience any problems in those few hours, but others did

Yea... it could stand for .26 T(est) #1.

So far so good. 946.87 DL, 50.26 UL - robbers speedtest.

Bridge mode only turns off the router function. There is nothing special otherwise. I really do commend you guys for being alpha testers without remuneration. I am happy to stick with the old technology and old firmware until they figure things out.

YouTube has been having some type of outage lately. I don't think it has anything to do with Rogers.

I may switch back to the 3552, my patience is wearing thin. Thanks for all the info by the way.

I haven't tested really anything else as I just got it installed a week ago, hopefully this is the issue thanks for the insight.

the advantage is you will get the latest update or fix if you have problem with your modem but if there is an issue with the beta firmware you can now go back to previous one through hard reset
