Yay! With the new firmware (36T6) and line signal levels which don't seem to be fluctuating quite as much, I am now at over a week with no disconnects or major glitches.

Hmm... Now that you mention it. Now that I've switched from Bell to Rogers, my VPN to work can lag badly at times. However, it lagged before too. It's just worse now. It might just be coincidence though. Is there any reason why VPN access with MS Remote Desktop (which to my understanding usually isn't very demanding) could slow down with Rogers Cable Gigabit vs Bell Fibe fibre optic Gigabit? My Rogers plan is Gigabit/30 (with the latter dropping down to 15-20 frequently) whereas my Fibe plan was Gigabit/100.

Meanwhile, download speeds on Rogers are consistently super fast.
