go to cmd (start>run>cmd)
type
ipconfig /release all
then type
ipconfig /renew
should do the trick
if not, why bother posting on rfd when you can just call 1-888-ROGERS1

why don't you try:
1) ipconfig /release
2) unplug ethernet cable
3) change MAC address
4) plug cable back in
5) ipconfig /renew
*blah* gangstar posted before i hit submit

It is not so simple, you can do ipconfig/release and renew and still wouldn't get a new IP. The way to do it is to disconnect your modem for a period of time (I don't remember exactly how long though, but not less than 5 hours). Another way is to change the MAC address (there is a program to do it, forgot the name though), which I have tried and got a different IP each time.
EDIT: For all your questions about Rogers Yahoo you should look on broadbandreports.com in the appropriate forum.

My IP changed once after a quick disconnect around 30 mins. Unplugged the modem and router.
I think you need to do it for at least a few hours though, and even then it might not change._______________

If you do the ipconig /release and then leave everything unplugged overnight you should get a new address without having to change the MAC.
