Rogers Internet reseller in Toronto?
I'm looking to hook up with internet through Rogers because the condo I'm going to only has Rogers lines. Is there any resellers out there that resells their internet service so I can avoid dealing with Robbers?
Thanks.

There is only one that I can't think of right now but heard bad stories about them. Unfortunately if your condo only supports Rogers, than Rogers it is.

Lovely. Robbers really knows how to pick their affiliates.

well, they have improved somewhat...
my first call about 2 years ago...took 3 hours
my call last month...3 minutes...
so i see an improvement...=)
can't complain much when there is no caps, no throttling, etc...
most times, my speeds are 1100-1200 kb/s

That's pretty crappy speeds.
I've got CIA right now, and supposedly it's a 10Mb/s line download, and 1Mb/s upload. All I'm getting is barely 1Mb/s download, closer to like 700Kb/s.
The customer service is garbage if you ever have to call in. If you're lucky like some of my other friends, you'll never need to call them.

crappy speeds? well, none of my friends can download as fast as i can...
1200 kilobytes/s is almost 10 megabits/s line
1200 x 8 = 9600...9.6mb/s...approx.

Bandwidth speeds are usually quoted either in Kilobits/second, or Megabits/s.
So when you said 1100-1200 kb/s, one can only expect that you meant 1.1-1.2 Mb/s.

Are you sure about that? Last time I heard about 3web, they had a 60GB cap just like Rogers.

If you have the "Platinum" package, the cap is 100Gb... but with the speeds I'm getting, I'll never even come close.

I don't get it... if 3web is offering speeds of up to 2mbps and cap of 60GB, how is that any cheaper than Rogers? Their Lite service is up to 3mbps and cap 25GB for the same price.

The cap is a softcap. There wont be a hardcap for a while.
Download speed is closer to 10mbit/sec, while upload speed is 0.5 mbit/sec, even for their lowest tier cable internet. Officially it's 7mbit/sec download, but myself and probably many others are seeing 10mbit. Sometimes rogers screw up the speed updates.
3web is also less reliable, as in goes down more than Rogers, so decide based on need.

if they do, they surely didn't let me know...
i easily do 60gigs in a day or two...and haven't heard from 3web yet...=)
i know someone who recently signed up...and on the website, it does say 60gigs...but when you call them and ask, they say unlimited.
