Does anyone know if the Unlimited Canadian Text Messaging includes Picture/Video Messages?

I have the old $100/yr plan and was able to send 3 picture messages successfully (I have a $0 balance btw). Then the next time I tried sending a picture message it fails saying I have insufficient funds. Weird...

Hello, i just got this plan today but was charged $10 (25$ - $15 credit because I aplied for Rogers credit card).

Did anyone who got this plan got charged $25 activation fee? Also how do I turn off voice mail and how do I check how much airtime I have.

Thanks

I didn't get charged the $25 fee. I would talk to customer service to turn off your voice mail. To check remaining airtime, in your rogers phone, enter *611, then 2 then 2. Anybody know if I buy the prepaid Rogers Paygo cards (not the $100 good for the whole year card), the money will remain in my account after 1 month using this plan?

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll call Rogers tomorrow n go back to the store for the fee. It was weird, the sales rep separated the 120 onto one 100 voucher and another 20 voucher. He then called Rogers to add the 20 dollars voucher. Something fishy going on at that location.

This is not a limited time promo. They got rid of the $100 plan with 100 free daytime minutes, and this will be permanently replacing it. However, since the $120 annual plan (which only has 50 free daytime minutes) has unlimited texting, which the $100 annual plan does not, the new $120 plan is much better. For comparison, say you addon text plan of $5 for 250 txts per month to the $100, you would end up paying $160 (100 + 5*12) for the entire year, compared with $120 + $25 (50 extra daytime minutes needed at 50 cents) = $145 for the year with unlimited txts per month = $120 wins easily.

Given that before the $100, there was the $75 annual deal, this is Rogers approach to Pay as You Go customers - increase the services and increase price. But the value is fair so it's a good deal.

Any vouchers other than the $100/year expire after 30 days.

The activation fee is charged or waved at the discretion of the people at kiosk or store handling your transaction.

Do not believe so, which is a good thing, because the bill would be huge if the call was made in the day time.

Is that for prepaid? I thought that was for postpaid and you needed a monthly plan for that (talk/text).
Hmm, I'll search the website, but I didn't recall having this feature available when I last searched.
I was wondering also if they have the same pay as you go plan as Rogers, if so and you can add $15/1gb, that's better.
As sometimes we will need data and I think it's better that way than pay as you go data charges.

This is postpaid, but don't need a talk/text plan.
The $15 1GB plan is a tablet plan, you can add a texting feature ($10 for unlimited Canadian SMS) if you want.

It's not prepaid its monthly no contract

I got this for my 12 year old boy and give him a used iPhone. Since we are all iOS users at home...and the phone is dedicated for family calls...FaceTime audio ad text "blue" via apple cloud seems to be working out...

Most young users do don't use the phone talk feature anymore
