too bad I missed this post earlier, could have ordered Halo Wars, GOW 2 and Fable 2 for trade 3 for Army of Two, now the prices have gone back up on amazon.ca

Looks like RP finally learned... 40+ for most T2/T3 games (at least with current prices). Although i suspect some possible price drops before the month ends (on used game), which could result in lowering the price to ~30.

Additional note... resistance 2 is 9.99 @ sony style until all stock is gone (at least thats what i was told). Anyone who wants to take advantage of T3 should consider going there and getting a copy.

they won't be selling the PC version and Special Edition... so this months deal is useless to me

Yeah that makes sense.
That said, with almost every game I wanted this year being available new on launch week at $29 or $39, I may not need the deal.

This was posted yesterday and the amazon deal started/ended on 24th or 25th so nothing you could do...

But for the speculators like me..woo hoo...2x GOW GOTY, 1xfable, 1xhalo and 1x halo wars...

but the limit of 1 per account is not so cool...

amazon prices were still $9.99 yesterday afternoon for those games, but this post was after the prices went back up anyway

Does anyone think that Rogers will have an issue with using the current "2 used games for $40" promo to get 2 games from the T2G1F deal for Mass Effect 2? Seems like a good way to get Mass Effect 2 for $39.99 provided they don't claim that we're combining two promos...

They won't care, most staff won't even know about the new promo starting on the 4th. The offer in this thread doesn't start until the 4th so you aren't combining anything really

Yes, but you'll have to pay a bit. They deduct a couple of dollars for no manual, discs that aren't brand new, etc., etc.

I asked them today and they hadn't the foggiest clue. And personally they just don't care.

I had a messed up Uncharted 2 that I got, returned because of the scratch and they didn't even request the other game back. I wasn't going to complain, but the lady just did it without even blinking.

Sometimes you just get good people and they aren't going to care.

Like I said earlier, when this first started, I was buying the games and flipping them immediately after purchasing them. Just gotta be nice and you'll end up in the green
