How's this phone compared to Samsung's S7 Edge?

Sony/Rogers is copying Samsung's recent sale LMAO.

Does purchasing outright allow you to get the headphones?

I used to work at Roger, but I can't remember the rules

Side-by-side spec comparison with the S7 edge.
Sony's UI is arguably less bloaty but it has less RAM so the S7 is likely faster despite the higher res screen (which is also Super AMOLED).

Unfortunately, it says on the site that the free gift is only included on "select 2-year terms". (I'm not on Share Everything and don't want to switch either...)

Sony image sensors.

The complaints, such as from GSM Arena, are due to Sony's digital image processing. They did however, give it points for its excellent shot stabilization.

Sony fails to deliver another flagship device. They should have built up on the z5 premium philosophy or gave us a real top tier z5 compact replacement instead of a normal Sony phone with updated specs and just change the body.

This should've been their mid-range option (though it does have the 820). 5" 1080p screen for a flagship? 3GB RAM? 2700 mAh battery?

The price is okay because there's no difference from the $700 US price. At $900 it would be very overpriced.

I'm a big fan of Sony phones but I wasn't impressed with the Z5 reviews and while the X is different, it's priced too high.
