Doing live chat now. They're transferring me to retentions after I mentioned the promo but the rep had to look up my postal code first. Still waiting to actually be transferred though. It's been 50 minutes...

Anyone have any luck combining this with a TV offer? I was told that if I took this deal, my existing internet/TV package would be defunct and I'd end up actually paying a few dollars extra to keep my same TV package.

Nobody called me as well after putting in cancellation, but I got win back email saying call them back as they have good offer. I did and got 24.99$ right away with no resistance. Tech just left after switching my new modem
Before that I tried regular chat 2x, fb chat 1x, and "share your concern" chat 1x.. all failed

Just got it on my first try over live chat. Told them Bell is offering me 500U for $24.99 and they asked if I saw the promo on the Rogers site and I just said yes (even though I didn't). Looked up my postal code and she got it all done for me right away. Just got to go get the new modem.

Couple of months ago we signed up to u500 at 69.99 but our bills have been wrong since then. Called in to complain again last week and they revised things, etc. Took a closer look and they put us automatically on the $24.99/month plan. In Newmarket if this helps.

It would appear a promo can be applied to a 'stand alone tv package' combined with this of $5 on starter, $10 on select, $20-25 on popular, or $30 on premier. YMMV as to whether they include a free hd box/pvr, and had no luck with/ and lost a grandfathered tv package.

That was so easy and I'm an existing customer, house, and Bell ftth available. 20 minutes on hold. Straight up told them I'm looking for a deal, they said anything specific, and I said redflagdeals $24.99 for 500 down. They basically said no problem and the call was over within a few minutes. I already have the gigabit modem.

I got the 500u along with tv offer.cleacy1972 wrote: ↑ It would appear a promo can be applied to a 'stand alone tv package' combined with this of $5 on starter, $10 on select, $20-25 on popular, or $30 on premier. Originally i was on a bundle. Because they changed my internet plan to 500u, my TV's bundle discount was removed. Instead, they moved it to Popular Tv, which cost $5 more. All in all, the benefits and savings from the 500u outweights the $5 increase.
