Ignite 60 w 250gb - $50/month
Ignite 150u - $60/month
Ignite 500u - $80/month
Gigabit Internet - $105/month

All are 12 months/no contract. One time $14.95 activation fee

Only available to new customers via field rep

Not sure how long this deal is available for but it could get pulled sooner than later.
Any bundles with tv and 500u internet or Gigabit? Also where does one find a field rep? 500u and gigabit are looking very attractive to me but wouldn't mind tv thrown in as well though I don't need it at all.

The only bundled promo at the moment is 150u (upgraded to gigabit until Jan 2018) + popular + local home phone for $99.99

and if some are lucky as this specific promo is postal code restricted : gigabit internet + popular + local home phone for $109.98

When I called retentions a few weeks ago to renew my cable and internet package, they were adamant that there were absolutely no discounts on the 4K PVR. Today I did a live chat to see how much extra it would be to swap my Nextbox 3.0 PVR with a 4K PVR and was told I would only have to pay $7 more per month, which would turn out to be much less than what retentions was quoting me a few week back. I made the switch, just hope the chat agent didn't mess up. Thankfully I saved a copy of the chat transcript.

Rogers offered me was 150u + Popular TV for about $105 (~ $119 after tax) I tried to get the Ignite 75 or Ignite 30 for a cheaper price but he said the only promotions on now are for the 150u so the Ignite 75 or 30 were both $130+. Prices include modem and PVR rental. It's a little bit more expensive than the $99.99 bundle but the rep said that deal doesn't even exist. Obviously the deal does exist so I'm not sure how things work at Rogers. . .

I contacted them through Facebook Messenger and they were pretty nice but it literally took the whole day to go through everything. We started the conversation at 10 am and ended at almost 7 pm.

My promo expired in May. I was paying 114.47 + tax for 100u internet and Digital VIP cable with 1 Nextbox 3.0 HD PVR and 1 Nextbox HD Terminal included free.

I've spoken with multiple agents by phone and through facebook and the best I've been offered is 139.93 + tax to "keep your existing services".

I wasn't happy with the $25 increase for the same services but eventually decided to call back and accept. Now I'm being told that offer was a mistake and that there's no way I can keep Digital VIP but would have to downgrade to Popular TV instead, even with the $25 increase.

I really don't want to pay more AND lose so many channels. Do I have any recourse to get Rogers to honour the offer that they claim was a mistake? It was offered on Facebook Messenger so I have it in writing obviously. In the meantime I've scheduled cancellation of internet and cable for this Thursday. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I have the $99 Gigabit + cable deal. Does anyone know if it is possible to get them to throw in a second box for free? If not, how much is a second box usually? It doesn't need to be a fancy 4K box.

Thanks

Speak to retention and see what they can do. From my understanding, Rogers is running low on regular HD boxes.

If your package allows more than 1 outlet, you could try and kijiji an HD one for 50-80$

Is the 4K pvr that much better than the nextbox 3.0? My 3.0 has been running well so far and I've seen other rfd posts that the 4K pvr was buggy?

I had it installed this morning and so far haven't noticed any issues with the box. Runs smoother than my nextbox 3.0 did.
I have to say I'm not as wowed with the 4k picture quality as I thought I'd be.

3.0 is fine. 4K just has a bigger hard drive and is a little faster.

Rogers only has like 2 4K channels anyway

All packages "allow" an extra outlet. But you need to pay the "extra outlet fee" of $7.49.

The popular bundles these days include one outlet. Adding more costs extra.

I understand there is a fee, however there were package in the past that included 3 outlets. My VIP package includes 5 outlets for whatever reason. hence "IF YOUR PACKAGE INCLUDES MORE THAN 1 OUTLEt"(WITHOUT PAYING)
