I tried doing that but they said they were unable to do quotes for packages. Said they could arrange to have a sales agent call me but could not offer pricing via chat.
That's weird, I had someone offer me a bundle right away yesterday. Just had to fill out a form they sent me.

Rumours are that Rogers IPTV is coming in 2018?

Does it mean the end of Cable TV?

My contract ends in March 2018, after which I'm considering dropping Cable TV alltogether..
But I'm curious how the overall price lanscape will change then?

Are we expecting cheaper Cable due to IPTV introduction?

Or vice versa? :) knowing Rogers , you know....

Or IPTV same price as Cable?
i have a feeling IPTV will be slightly more than cable

I think they're just offering field sales promos to retention now...
I have no difficulties with signing a long term contract, however, i'm not particularly impressed with any of the current field promotions. I'll just continue to hope they change dramatically for when I need to decide next spring.

I do like the starter tv package though - Especially knowing that pricing is CRTC mandated / not going to be a sudden surprise in it anytime soon.

The only thing really that's really a 'steal' is the $109 Popular TV and Gigabit internet bundle. However, that's restricted to certain postal codes and ofcourse, pre construct homes.

Although, the $99 bundle (105u and popular tv), you get a 'free preview' of gigabit internet until Jan 2018

Existing long-time Rogers customer with VIP cable and Extreme Internet (30 down, 5 up) 300 GB cap paying $118 per month taxes in. Just received Premier TV and 150 Unlimited for $130 a month taxes in and a one-time $100 credit (credit for previous overage charges on the 300 GB cap). Not particularly thrilled, but I really needed unlimited, 300 GB a month was just not cutting it anymore.

Just a quick update on the new internet only prices...its free installation and free activation. ($14.95 no longer applies)

Ignite 60 w 250gb - $50/month
Ignite 150u - $60/month
Ignite 500u - $80/month
Gigabit Internet - $105/month
Do the student deals differ from this?
I love RFD! :)

New field sales offer: Ignite 60u (unlimited) for $50/month
That's what I'm looking for! So should it be possible to get this through retentions now or just field sales?

How does one determine which postal codes are valid for the bundle?

If I understand you correctly these are currently the options worth discussing:

1. $115+HST for 150u & Premier
2. $109+HST for Gigabit & Popular
3. $99+HST for 150u & Popular

Nice! That one is actually reasonable. Something i'd noticed previously was Rogers wasn't offering any 'lower' speed unlimited packages. The slowest unlimited package available was 150u.

Having a 60u available is helpful.

That (60mb) is a speed I haven't yet tried myself. I know 30mb was to slow (noticable difference when I upgraded to 100mb), and 100mb was more then fast enough (Everything ran just as quick/lagfree regardless of how many people were online in the house. Streaming videos started instantly). While i'm currently on gigabit, that's only because of the promotion i'm on. I see no difference between gigabit and 100mb with my usage patterns.

Would there by a noticeable difference between 60U and 100U. I use my internet for Netflix, apple TV and Kodi.

Thanks
