Don't need the pop up, I never got it. Csr that helped me was awesome. I didn't go through customer servic and chat got me nowhere the previous night, called into sales this morning. Not sure if there's a difference but that's the dept I had dialed into.
Which number did you call?

Same boat as so many others on here. Discrimination at its best I was told my 59.89 was already a good deal.for 500u and that I shouldn't make waves. No amount of fighting got them to budge even 5 dollars. I feel indignated and disatisfied.

Same thing happened to me. I "renewed" on Thursday and got the same email about being in contact within 24 hours. I ended up calling this afternoon and they had no record of my acceptance or the renewal deal offered. I'd suggest calling them.
I did have the chat on Saturday they offered 34.99 (same as what I have now for 1GB) instead of 39.99 offer that was on my account. They wanted to renew as of Feb 10th but I said if posiible from mid March when my offer expires, and the agent agreed. They said I will receive an email in 24 hours, no email yet. I did save the chat transcript. Anybody else in the same situation?

I was told that the areas receiving this deal have been aggressively targeted by bell and as such eligible for preferential treatment. Not I however I live in a plebe Rogers dominant neighborhood so I am not eligible in fact I was told that if I want I could swap my $59.99 500U for $94 500U with a $20 rebate.

This is the reply I got:
"I see how this is important to you however for the internet promo for the gigabit for 29,99$, we would not have access to the offer. you would have to give our retention department a call at 1-866-737-4159. They will be able to offer you more options and better price plans than we have at the moment"

I signed up yesterday before there were any responses to OP (I commented on the first page of this thread) but I haven't recieved any confirmation of my order being processed. I only got the "Thank you" email saying that the order should be processed within 24 hours. Didn't receive any calls either.

Is it because my old promo ends sometime mid/late March and it will switch over at that time? For people who's old $25 500 Mbps promo was ending in March was the switchover instant?
I renewed on MyRogers and about 12hrs later I got a change of service email. The new promo start date is listed as March 27. My current deal ends March 26.

Lol! Here's what a Rogers rep told me:

That offer is not a real offer. It was posted to a forum. If isnt directly from a Rogers website or mail, its is not from us

We have been dealing with this issue for 2 days.

Well that's some pretty good Photoshop work of the Overview page if that's the case.

Yes, as you can see the "29" is bolder than the others.

BOLDER/b] he said.

Based on?
They laughed at the question of when FTTH would be in my area ... they thought they were doing good with getting FTTN done.

Like I said it's all old buried lines thru the fence line of our back yards full of bushes and trees and greenbelts
I'd rather be outdoors camping, kayaking, and mountain biking ...

Received some clarification from a seemingly competent agent:

The $29.99 Gigabit promo is not one of our advertised offers. We have had a lot of escalations regarding this as I'm aware it has been posted on redflagdeals. Please be aware that we do not honor offers that are posted on third party forums. However, I can clarify that this was a targeted offer for existing internet-only customer who were renewing their plans Ignite 500u or Ignite Gigabit. Unfortunately, these offers may have also been postal-code restricted and we are unable to manually apply them to accounts.

So I've been paying $82 a month for the Roger's ignite 150. Probably for the past 2-3 years. I've.been a customer with Roger's for as long as I can remember over 12yrs.

I tried to get the 1gb plan or even then 500 plan with out any luck. It reminded me of the time share sell. After you tell the first guy you want to cancel they send you over to the next guy higher up. Well, I put in my cancellation as well. Hopefully I get a call back.

Where do you live that you are able to get these deals? Anyone in Markham getting this price?
It sucks for those loyal customers who have been paying the full price. I was paying 120 for the 500, then talked to a rep who wouldn't give me the 1G or 500 at a discount so I downgraded to 150 for $67. That was the best he could do apparently. GL!

I also get pop up message from my account.
My concern is, if I accept the offer, will the new plan start right away, or it will start until my current plan is ending?
My current plan is ending on March 27.
