Same boat as so many others on here. Discrimination at its best I was told my 59.89 was already a good deal.for 500u and that I shouldn't make waves. No amount of fighting got them to budge even 5 dollars. I feel indignated and disatisfied.

I did have the chat on Saturday they offered 34.99 (same as what I have now for 1GB) instead of 39.99 offer that was on my account. They wanted to renew as of Feb 10th but I said if posiible from mid March when my offer expires, and the agent agreed. They said I will receive an email in 24 hours, no email yet. I did save the chat transcript. Anybody else in the same situation?

I was told that the areas receiving this deal have been aggressively targeted by bell and as such eligible for preferential treatment. Not I however I live in a plebe Rogers dominant neighborhood so I am not eligible in fact I was told that if I want I could swap my $59.99 500U for $94 500U with a $20 rebate.

This is the reply I got:
"I see how this is important to you however for the internet promo for the gigabit for 29,99$, we would not have access to the offer. you would have to give our retention department a call at 1-866-737-4159. They will be able to offer you more options and better price plans than we have at the moment"

I renewed on MyRogers and about 12hrs later I got a change of service email. The new promo start date is listed as March 27. My current deal ends March 26.

It sucks for those loyal customers who have been paying the full price. I was paying 120 for the 500, then talked to a rep who wouldn't give me the 1G or 500 at a discount so I downgraded to 150 for $67. That was the best he could do apparently. GL!

My concern is, if I accept the offer, will the new plan start right away, or it will start until my current plan is ending?
My current plan is ending on March 27.
