I guess 3rd chat is a charm for me. I got an offer I was comfortable taking.
34.99 for 500U. Wasn't worth my time to go through the process of chatting/cancelling to maybe get an additional $5 taken off. Also, had it applied to begin at end of expiring promo.

Just odd that we have to go through this song and dance every year.
Is that with taxes in.

received an unsolicited call from whatever company does the calls for rogers. currently on the gigabit w/vip tv @ 106.75/mth expiring april 2nd. almost humorous, "best offer we can do right now, similar to what you have, is ignite premier tv and gigabit internet with (ha free) home phone for the low price of $220.34, can I sign you up?" umm no.
I managed to renew my package for $99/month

Gigabit internet
Popular TV
Home phone

Previously, was paying 109/month for this package

Renewed for 2 years

Folks.... I put in my cancellation couple of weeks back since I did not get a good deal from facebook chat as well. I got a pop-up on my computer to call a number(1877 2956 188) which turned out to be a level up then retentions.

They informed me that my current deal of $ 62 / 500u is the best they can offer. My cancellation is set for 5th March.

Not sure what should I do, is there any other number or department above this with whom I can talk and negotiate ?

Mine was actually part of complaint resolution

They asked what I would be happy with, and I said renewal, and they said sure

what was the complaint you had with them? what was the escalation process / how many levels did you go through?
any specifics about your situation that may help others draw parallels so they can try something similar...

But isn't Bell offering so much more for $99.90 for 24 months? Check the thread

That's too bad because I have a mailed flyer and the Bell thread showing a lot of deals with 4K and Gigabit, etc. for no more than $108.00 The flyer states $99
