I was previously on 24.99 500U deal which was expiring in March. Chatted via facebook and wouldn't get a good deal asked to put a cancellation notice. After 2-3 days I got a call from winback and received offer for 500U-29.99 and 1G-34.99. This includes the 5$ rate hike already.

I live in Ajax in a house.

Wow....is all I have to say!

My Current offer of 500u, basic home phone, basic cable(do not use) for 68$ a month will be ending March, 2019. I called the normal line and asked about promo's, and then person said they can give me back the same pkg for a slight increase to 97$ a month...."slight". I said nah what about just internet and home phone - after waiting on hold for about 10min for the person to talk to a supervisor for a special code (thats what the told me) they offered me home phone for 20$ and 500 u for 90$...total of 110$ EVEN HIGHER....i laughed out loud...The rep re-iterated that its the best offer and that they had to get special codes to make it happen....WOW....how do they make these offers without laughing themselves.

I also called the number provided above, and the person also quoted the same $20 home phone and 80$ for 500u....i wonder since that is in my account notes....im SOL now....Ah well....

Needless to say I asked to put a cancellation in for all three services and will now wait for a call back. Also will be searching the threads for a 3rd party ISP as well....any suggestions? or is it the usual suspects - Cannet, Carrytel?

thanks in advance!
My Fido promo plan (50/10) is up in April, hoping to extend it, but judging from these posts I won't be holding my breath. Disappointed Face I will be making the jump to a 3rd party FTTN (DSL) as cable is only good if you get it from Rogers/Fido. I had Cable from cannet for 3mths is all I could last as I was getting as low as 3down/1up during peak periods when i should have been getting 100/10. Currently eBox has a promo for $29.95/mth for 50/10 FTTN(DSL) for 12mths.

I am currently on the $24.99/mo|500u plan, in Guelph. They offered $34.99/mo|1GBu plan right away via chat. I'd prefer to stay at $24.99/mo|500u, but the rep said they couldn't match it.

I told my Manager about this deal and he got super excited. He is with Bell currently but wants to make the move. Wondering if this is available to new users? If yes, fb chat/call is the way to get this?

Anyone know if London can get this deal
That mostly depends on where/what region you live now.If there is competitive rival, say Bell, with lower price more or less ,you can definitely get that deal.If not,it is almost impossible. No matter what others say,Rogers knows if there is competitive price for the same service in different region. I ended up getting their 1 Gig cable service for $60/month.It is not $35/month,like others get;still a deal considering my region that Bell has't come yet nearby(Rogers territory),and higher price goes for third party providers for much lower speeds(max one fourth of my current speed).

Anybody in London, ON have luck with this? I chked with live chat since my existing offer was expiring and they came back with ~$100 for gigabit. I requested a cancellation for next week. Was planning on jumping on Carrytel if nothing was offered.

This is GREAT, worked perfectly for me (in London). Called in to set up cancellation and they called me 40 minutes later with a $29.99 deal for 500u.

New to RFD! I am looking to get the 500 or the 1gb deal in London, On. My friend is paying $45/month for 1gb with Rogers in a residential home.

I have never been with Rogers, I called earlier today and got offered 150u for $35/month or 500 for $60/month. Wondering if anyone can PM me an agent to contact or some help on how to get the deal! Cheers!
Did you get that deal?

Was in 24.99 (500 u ) 1 year expiring this month, called in to renew it, offered 29.49 for 500 u and 34.99 1Gps u. Asked if they could reconsider to make it old price, Surprisingly came back and gave me 1Gps for 24.49 for 12 months. House, Brampton.

Just chatted online, promo was ending soon. Was able to get 29.99 plus taxes for 1 Gps.

All I did was mention that my promo was ending soon, and an agent came by to the house with the same offer that is expiring (should mention no agent came, just a crafty white lie). Also mentioned that the agent said something about fiber to the home was added to the area. This seems to do the trick, it worked for me last year too.

She came back as offered me $39.99, I asked if I could get it for $34.99 same as my expiring offer. She came back for 29.99 plus tax instead.

Feel free to try this method.

Called. Retention offered me 300mbps download for $74 a month. Told me that the 500u for $25 is only for new customers....
